The PS5 stock situation with bots online hasn’t been getting much better now after the Holidays with the latest example showing a bot securing thousands of systems in the UK. Now after being seen bragging online the retailer in question has decided to review and start cancelling duplicate orders made with the bot.

Buying ps5 should req to have register as PSN user and have had account at least had accounts for 6+ month, digital stores should be a lot harder to buy ps5. Sony should ban anybody who try to seek at higher then current price.
Scalpers are still doing well, ordinary gamers have virtually zero chance to purchase a PS5 unit, and SONY clearly doesn't give a flying f**ck about the shortages as long as they meet the sales figures. Yes, I know consoles are sold at a loss and it's the games that bring the bacon, but judging from Playstation's bragging that PS5 is selling better than any other console in history, I don't think they're overly concerned about that right now.

Really, it's so easy. If stores really care all they have to do is have only customers who have a good history track record of buying with them, but these systems and not to a new user who just opened an account just to buy a PS5 or SX it's obvious that that's a bot and give the advantage to your best loyal customers. Scalpers are scumbags. I see so many people I know show heartbreak because they can't get one for their kids. I know people are like it's not a big deal, but If you promised your child a PS5 for Christmas you don't just go back on your word even though it wouldn't be their fault anyway because the Scalpers keep stealing them all.
