This did have benefit of having the agent and VBs dead at my hand. Shady street gang and corpo slime cant be trusted. Might as well get Placids Jacket out of it.
Placide was dumber than a box of rocks. Killing every outsider you hire as a matter of practice seems like a quick way to guarantee that you'll never, ever be able to hire a decent merc after the first couple of jobs. He was lucky he didn't destroy the chip in his first attempt to kill V, and betraying V a second time was even more foolish than the first.
Not sure why people see netwatch as evil. Alt showed how dangerous she was in the final mission killing most of arasaka. That was just one ai, need to be keept in check.

Voodoo boys wanted to free Rogue AIs from the Blackwall, that would of been catastrophic.
Siding with Netwatch didnt feel right but it was definitely the lesser of the two evils.

I didn't trust either, but I sided with Netwatch anyway because at least that guy was civil and polite. Placide was just a dick with a nice jacket.
