The scene @34:13 reminds me a bit of the movie, What Dreams may Come, when the protagonist is trying to make his way through hell. I thoroughly love the visuals in this game. It's really well put together. Thanks for continuing this series! Also, bless you for expressing some sympathy for us poor teachers!!!

I'm curious if you turn off the subtitles you wouldn't know the names of the people speaking, so in a way the subtitles are spoiling the real name of sadness before the player actually finds her real name?

its clearly obvious the thomas dude is either dead or not there to clarify anything, at that point she should have left and never turn back… also her dad died like yesterday wtf is she doing there? its like the writer didnt like the opening scenario and changed it mid development giving no reason for the character to be there.
Really enjoying this playthrough. Tons of horror games get all the hype and ultimately disapoint. This didn't get a huge amount of hype and has been outstanding

something about this game feels almost…existentially threatening? it's much scarier to me than any other game that you've played, chris. even though the plot is ostensibly fantastical, it still feels real somehow, which makes the sections with maw and the overall suffering the dead have experienced all the more frightening
And the first boss reminds me of a more talkative scp096. This is cool… and terrifying.
hot theory for being only 20 minutes in: maw possessed…ursula? the nurse? because they were both tired of 'everyone being just like the others'
After seeing Troy Baker acting as The Maw I can't find that monster scary. I love Troy.
But this game is amazing.
Whenever i hear the name "Francis" I get Deadly Premonition flashbacks.
This skinsuit wants to stay far away from Maw…
Lily sounds similar because in Layers of Fear 2(made by the same dev) the older sister is also called Lily!
