  1. Eventually you can find a planet that has organic crystals you can mine but they don't ever seem to be in the starter solar system. I was able to get fire ice in my system which really helped my graphine production. Nice video KOS! I just love watching your videos. You have such a pleasant voice and your videos are so helpful.

  2. That Construction Mode can be useful if you change the gameplay settings to Building View Mode: God Mode. Then you can position your mech under one of those Wireless Power Towers and control the camera inside the build area, instead of walking around everywhere and worrying about fuel. I only keep mech fuel around for emergencies and going to new planets, otherwise just scatter charge towers around the area and leech off the grid.

  3. You seem to be short on power again.

Also, can you explain how exactly the ray receiver works? Does the receiver itself have a maximum draw, or is the only limit how many solar sails you have? You mentioned the receiver gets better the longer it is continuously connected; what is it that gets improved?

  4. I'm wondering if, at this stage of the game, it's worth having those 1000 solar panels orbiting in space ? Seems to be it's a waste because: 1- They give you a huge surplus of energy, which becomes wasted (you have no accumulators) 2- They have very short lifespan (at the moment) 3- Your four railguns are shooting them non stop so their production consumes a big amount of resources and power. Thoughts ?

  5. I wish there is a sound for the railguns shooting. I kinda sit at my cmputer and do like "Pew pew pew". But an original game sound would be better :D. Like to hear them shooting 600 a minute.

  6. Hey KOS loving the series. Just a tip for ya. You don’t need to add up your oil manufacturing or any of that kind of thing. Just hit ‘P’ or click the button on the bottom right. Awesome production screen!!

  7. For your "organic" organic crystal assembler, since your boxes are there just to manually drop off two items into the assembler you could do that with only a single box using two sorters with filters connected directly from the box to the assembler instead of the two boxes. You can either press "tab" when placing the sorter to select an item as the filter if it is already in the box, or you can click on the sorter after it's built to set the filter from all possible items you know regardless of whether it's in the box yet or not. They even show little mini-icons at the start of the sorter sort of like factorio does with combinators so you know what they're filtering! You could even add the water into the same box of you really wanted to get fancy by limiting the box to one or two stacks for the water that gets added automatically and putting the manual items (wood/grass) in the red spaces. I don't think you have used any filters yet in this playthrough yet, and that looks like a perfect place to try them out slash show them off!

  8. @8:15 was literally waiting for the point where she said 'do I have them made?' because this is the third time she's come to the shop for miners without them being made 🤣

@8:38 and every time she says 'I must have them made, I just don't see them so I will hand craft them for now.'

@9:06 oh hooray, she's actually making one now. Future KOS will thank you (or just take for granted and assume they were there all along… Probably wonder why they are at the end rather than the beginning.)

  9. Had to laugh a bit at the giant titanium crystal array. I did the same thing. But then I realized to fulfill a mk1 conveyor line of them I would need 360 organic crystals/minute, which requires 36 chem labs pumping them out, another 36 pumping out plastic, and 84 oil refineries pumping out refined oil for the crystals+plastic, consuming more oil than is available on the planet. Haha, yeahhhh.
