  1. Enjoying the series so far and I'm at a similar spot in my own playthrough. One suggestion I have heard regarding red science is that the first red research you should do is xray cracking. Similar idea to Factorio where the first blue science to research is Advanced Oil Processing. This will allow a much more efficient way of producing red science and without having to tap coal to produce graphite. To use another Factorio analogy, Xray Cracking seems to be the Dyson equivalent of the Kovarex process with Hydrogen instead of U235.
