Learning how to use Grenades in Escape From Tarkov not only to get kills but also as a tool to move your enemy where you want them is an incredibly rewarding skill to learn. In this Lessons From Beyond the Grave we take a look at a clip where I died trying to throw a grenade and we talk about when and how to use grenades the right way in tarkov. Check it out!

Dude love your videos and i learn so much thanks
A good tip I'd give new players is to never sway to the sides while throwing a nade. Either throw nades while you're stationary, or moving forward (without sprinting). It is extremely hard to place a good nade while strafing to the sides and they will almost never go where you want them to. Also, consider nading similar to reloading. Chucking a nade will leave you open for approximately the same time as a mag reload, along with the sound ques for each action. If you are in a situation where you think you won't have time to reload, you most likely won't have enough time to get a good nade off too. DISENGAGE, FLANK/RELOCATE.
Another fun fact, the F-1 hand grenade will roll to the left. Can use it to get into real specific positions.
Didnt see a thing. Just like playing Tarkov.
If you're throwing a grenade to stabilize the situation, just throw it in their general direction. But try not to throw a grenade standing in the middle of the hallway or far away from cover. As it's an easy way to die. Always try to get behind at least a bit of cover to throw a grenade from.
I wish we could throw rocks or cans like fake grenades.
I feel like my issue is in a gunfight right as I'm aiming onto enemies about to take a shot I get headshot or otherwise instantly deleted.
Skillshare does sound pretty good, but sorry Jesse I am a college kid with a Tarkov addiction so I got no time
great video thanks man
Imo the reason why throwing a nade is so damn tricky on tarkov is coz of the G button, its almost counter intuitive .Takes awhile to get use to..
what a great topic. Thank you
dude just joined the discord and the head guy is a fuckin MLP avatar guy. never joined a discord community before — just used it to talk to friends. is this the usual?
Great vid
it took so long for me to start the nade animation from behind cover and my only regret is I didn't start doing it sooner because I died a lot before keeping myself out in the open.
one you're exposed the nade toss feels like it takes an eternity
grenade = relocator
finally!! a nade guide..
my nade always bounce back at me lol..
Grenade always bounced back towards me hahahhaa…
Jesse how did you know I've been getting dropped while peaking halls like a noob throwing nades
The dumb thing is these guys are supposed to be operators. They train to be ambidextrous.
hey man I've been watching you and your podcasts since I've started playing tarkov and I've learnt so thanks to all of u and the community. much love glad to see your content π
If you're ever in a 2 on one situation down a hallway, getting a man on 2 floors limits your enemy's movement options, staying on the same floor is usually not very useful IMO.
Was in office and naded out the hallway because a guy was to the left and i pushed, but misjudged the timer and it blew up in my face. Good thing about dying in hallway of death is that i got all my gear back.
Your entire channel is just the blind leading the blind.
Same mistake as always, bad cover usage. Standing directly in the floor, the door is not made for using nades.
Two the second clip, shoulder transitions is a thing since ~2003 irl. Tarkov needs this also to get rid of the left peek disadvantage but itβs much work they need to do all the Animation on for the different side….
I throw mostly behind cover ,wall banging or the leaning blindfire method to donβt get peeked out.
How has he only got 55K subs?
Was he big on twitch first, and only just started YouTube?
What EQ do ya do for your SM58?
Welcome back Bill.
Jesse should be the new Therapist of Tarkov πππ
his voice is so soothing to me for some reason. just so calm and concise for what he wants to explain
i wish i could play tarkov again. grinding for kappa or whatever over and over and over again is annoying.
always peek right into a fight
peek left = death
Rule #1: Doorways are called "fatal funnels" for a good reason.
Great video, should've covered equipping grenades for underhand throws. I don't think a lot of people know about that feature.
Can't join your discord….
is it just me or is your mic more sensitive in this video, cotton mouth? π
rlly good break down
Use only vogs
Throw them directly at people
Success
Pretty sure those metal grates and the grate door won't let bullets through, just like it won't let a grenade through, I've closed them and just stood there while someone dumped a clip at me. π€£
play CsGo first and you learn everything about peeking…nates etc π good vid but only good for noobs XD
eh, we've all made this mistake. One thing that helps me A LOT is using basic real life firearm and room clearing tactics. Real life tactics from military or basic room clearing translates extremely well into tarkov. Shoot, move, communicate. Fire superiority, talking guns, speed and violence of action. Tarkov did a beautiful job allowing real life tactics to effectively carry over into their game. Use nades to suppress for you to change position or to force them out of theirs, not for the kill.
Missed opportunity to teach about hot-keying nades, and rolling them.
Wish they gave us the option to make our PMC shoot left or right. I shoot left in real life, so the gun being in my right shoulder feels weird in game.
