Alternator came back strong this season.
The alternator has always IMO been stable af without the barrel mod and stock, even in the beginning.

Altenator is a great gun really close like in buildings but Volt def is my pick over the other 2 cause it can be used at long range but still deadly up close
Would be cool if they'd try to copy the Titanfall 2 meta. Volt has lower dmg but is easy to control, the R9 is the opposite. Alternator is just a very good in hipfire. Looking at the meta we're finally getting there…
imo I feel like the volt is really easy to handle for longer ranges than the other smgs. I have been using rifles less because i feel like the volt is almost just as effective at range but keeps the smg mobility.

Ok here's what they should do.
Buff alternater damage to 17
Make ammo 18-25
Give the CAR (when they add it) 13 or 16 damage
The firerate would be between the alternator and the R99 but above the Volt
With a mag size of 20-30 (with 13 damage) or a mag size of 20-26 (with 16 damage)
Right now the CAR would have no place in the game if it were to be added now, so you would need to buff and nerf the other SMG's to give it a better place.

I think they should bring back the disruptive rounds, maybe that hop up could make the alternator truly viable like the volt and the r99

the r99 downs you faster but if u manage to miss the shots of the 99 the altenator will win
Another thing about the Alternator is that you dont need attachments to use it well
So long story short
R99- fastest at everything, but if you miss you’re screwed
Volt: a little slower but easier to use, more range
Alternator: easiest gun to use in this game

Imo, I think DPS is probably the most important factor. Say, all things equal, trading shot for shot in CQC, r99 vs just about any other weapon, the r99 is gonna down the opponent first.
The alternator always been slept on. Glad it’s getting the recognition it deserves
