I'm still not convinced that Kraken compression alone is the reason for the 42% difference in file size after compressiom when compared to the file size of the Series X version. Is Control the only game showing this difference or are there other games to compare?
Dude….this isn't new…ps4 pro did this too. Fifa games have always adapted to players and offered to step up difficulty. You are making something out of nothing.

Sucky idea.. So much for the sense of accomplishment..🙄 Beating the Valkyrie Queen in GOW would have not felt amazing at all if that feature existed. Hopefully it disables trophies for some things if you have it on..
Scaleable difficulty will only work if you can turn it off. Temporarily scaling down is great for everyone if you can't rise to the challenge and are struggling in an area. This removes any frustration and maintains the fun factor. But auto scaling up is a totally different beast. If a player deliberately chooses a chill out experience, then is thrown into ever increasing chaos as they try to adapt to the ramp, would be unacceptable. This will lead to times when you feel you have confidently got a nice rythmn going, then the game suddenly throws bullsh!t deaths at you. We already get that now on harder difficulties where games are so intent on killing you, they throw everything at you, choking the CPU so that your controller response is laggy and sometimes even ignored.
We need clarification whether the smaller download size equates to a smaller instal size as well. Heavy compression may be used to speed up download speed, then unpack during instal. If the installed size is smaller, then that's a massive win. That means the XBSX SSD will fill up twice as fast as the PS5 SSD, meaning you can instal twice as many games on a PS5 than an XBSX for any given SSD size. But that needs to be proven. This article just refers to download size, so let's not jump to conclusions. Mark Cerny is a genius and I loved his PS5 lecture. I understood the potential in his words. We just have to see it in action in order to demonstrate the difference it makes. Don't forget that unpacking a heavily compressed file requires processing time and delay access time to that asset. Having dedicated hardware helps, so we will see.

The difficulty adjustment based on how you play was a feature of GodHand. I wish Capcom would revive that Ip somehow, such an underrated game.

AI assisted difficulty is cool and all but there's a reason we have choices for difficulty in the game itself. If I'm failing at a higher difficulty then AI adjusting it would only render that level of difficulty useless. I'd rather struggle till I succeed
The fact that you have to pay for control on PS5 is just not fair.

Forza already tries to scale the difficulty for you and honestly it’s kind of annoying I just hit ignore every time it pops up
