I tried this. It's honestly better to farm ores in another world, stock up and then logout to other server and empty bags there, rinse repeat gg.
it's even easier to just stand by the chest on your mainserver(can even carry more then), log onto another server and mine there and fill up, and then log onto your mainserver with all the materials and put them in the chest ^_^ don't even need a portal then! Made a video on it 😀

They need to just allow people to transport it…. its honestly so dumb the resources are so spread.
not being able to teleport metal is stupid and done to artificially increase time-played anyway.
After playing valheim for a while now, its weird how i cant transport metal, yet i can transport metal tools. Like do you forge them and somehow now they can be teleported?!? Makes no sence to me besides to limit players by making them travel with small amount of ore or set up in different every time they want to forge in different biomes so they dont have a "hub" and make it seem like it increases time played.
Other then that the game is great and im enjoying it so much.
