After weeks of good news mostly thanks to Mass Effect and KOTOR, we swing out attention to Cyberpunk 2077 where the situation has not improved much. For starters, sales numbers have arrived for the month of January 2021 and the impact of their launch is now shown in raw data. Furthermore, CD Projekt Red was the target of a cyber attack which has not led to a loss of incredibly sensitive data. That on top of a patch yet to arrive and it looks like we will be waiting a bit longer for the good times to roll for Cyberpunk 2077!

  1. Yeah I was just as excited as anyone for 2077 but had to play on old gen console. I hate to say this about the Creators of one of the best games ever, but CDPR really let the world down with this one.. Lies and giving false hope for patches to fix the game. Yeah right..

  2. What you're saying is pointless though because when Hardware gets better and the game does get patched people are going to buy this game I have a 3700 and trust me the game is just as good as The Witcher. It's just not going to be good for the first year

  3. Its funny that cyberpunk I was like playing it and the whole time was like uhh where are the sidequest in my rpg? And throughout the game barley any sidequest then you get to the end of the game and are flooded with sidequest and alot are pretty good you can see the fact they didnt finish in this quest cause literally they are good and the moment of choice in this game are great but man I really wished they finished this game. There is 4 sidequest I can really think of that just were so abrupt and lacked choices like sinnerman, detective story, johnnys band, and the celebrity one. Its like you go to these crazy ass very cool detailed looking places and its like talk to this guy and leave, just so many wasted areas.

  4. Huh not the developers? The developers were the ones out talking up all the cool things you were going to be able to do and how the crime system would be so great and how the life paths would have far reaching effects! it wasnt the board or the investors or CEO on nightwire episodes, and they didnt sit down and code the fake video seen that was the developers…so you can say they dont have blame for the 2077 shit show but I heard it from their own mouths. or was a gun pointed at their heads? The only part of the pie that they didnt have their hands in was the release of the game.

  5. It's good to see this happening to CDPR. Too bad they made all of their money back already. I got rid of Cyberpunk. I will probably never play it again unless they make the game as they promised which will not happen.

I also don't get where people will spend that much money on coding. What can they do with it other than look at it and maybe leak it?

  6. I would be absolutely shocked if Cdpr did anything beyond patching a chunk of the bugs and then added a dlc or two. There's just way waaaaaay too much wrong, or incomplete here. Can't possibly be worth it based on a time v return in profit model. Best that anyone can realistically hope for is the ability to redesign the protagonist at their personal mirror.

  7. I knew cyberpunk was gonna fail from the first place. 90% of over hyped games fail. It’s reoccurring trend. That’s why I never pre order any games. Look at these games as examples. Titanfall over hyped before launch. 1 month later everyone realized titan fall was boring. Another example is fallout 76. Everyone was over hyping thinking it was gonna be like fallout 4, then then realized it was glitchy and boring. Another is avengers… I don’t think I need to say anything about avengers. The point is everyone is a fukn sheep in the gaming community. If a game is getting hyped then everyone else gets hyped too. If a game gets hate, then everyone else also hates the game too. People need to stop being damn sheep. Yes some of these games I named changed and improved over time but the fact is, the games weren’t anything what the community expected. So before you consider pre ordering games or consider buying a game in general, I highly recommend you actually wait to see real gameplay outside after launch. Those game companies can be very sneaky and hide almost anything about there game that they don’t want the public to see. In fact I waited almost 2 years before buying ghost recon breakpoint. People were expecting breakpoint to be like wild lands with the tactical realism but instead it played more like a mmo with the gear score. Breakpoint also didn’t even have Ai team mates like wild lands. But almost 2 years later now, they added EVERYTHING that the wild land fans wanted. now we have immersive mode, now we have Ai team mates, and other community requested updates. My rant probably isn’t gonna affect much but I felt like someone had to say it.

  8. I honestly hope that CDPR takes a proper kick to the teeth as a company because of this fiasco. There has to be some consequences for systematically lying to their customers literally for YEARS.

  9. How conveniently timed…
A "cyber attack" that saw some games being "compromised" and then CDFrauded It REKT coming out and saying that due to the "attack" updates and DLC will "slow down" ?
Yeah… Only a total moron would buy that obvious PR stunt meant to appease scammed customers, give some defense ammo to the lawyers on those class actions and justify delays without having to take actual responsibility by throwing alleged "hackers" under the bus.

  10. I think statistics should take into account platforms. Because on PC Cyverpunk 2077 was VERY good. Much less bugs. Slightly worse than expected performance but usable, I have seen way worse. So PC sales list is a lot different
