Control Ultimate Edition Xbox Series X Comparison
I played Control Ultimate Edition for you on the Xbox Series X in Performance and Quality Mode and recorded it in 4K.
The game runs in with a resolution of 1440p in performance mode and 1220p in graphics mode, both modes upscaled to 4K. In performance mode the game is stable at 60fps, while in graphics mode the game only runs at 30fps, but graphics mode has ray tracing. It has to be said that the developers have done a very good job here, the restrictions are on the next gen consoles and not on the developers.

Thanks for making this comparison. It looks that the reflections on graphics mode are better.
Since the save data doesn't carry over does that mean I get the achievements again or are they still gonna be unlocked???
In all honesty i would have hoped for performance to have a higher frame rate and graphical to also have a higher frame rate.
I was expecting performance to be 120fps and graphics mode to be at 60fps with HDR at least.
If I could get my LG GX to allow me access to the tru motion settings while connected to my series x i would find a setting there that gives you the feeling of a higher frame rate working through the TVs cpu while the series x is working on the Ray tracing that way u feel you are getting the best of both. How it is now, you have to accept either 60fps with no hdr on a system capable of much more or a mode with 30fps and slightly better reflections and still no HDR. Just remember the Pro and Xbone 1 X are capable of 60fps
I will say this i am glad i got this for cheaper with game pass as if you paid full price when owning the game already i would feel very frustrated indeed.
Oh and having to start over again is a pain but i am catching up on my prior save quick since I know what I am doing this time.
Is the Ray tracking only for ultimate edition and not standard

Just switch off motion blur if you play in graphics mode as it can feel a bit aggressive.
Are these options available on the ‘free’ version you get with game pass ultimate?
