Awesome! Great guest to have.
Nice. Love hearing Jason talk about the team's work.
Powering those dreams.
1 particular feature i look forward to see be pushed to its limit is directstorage and directML. Seeing resolution locked games be upscaled nicely will definitely put the series x in a nice place as a great marriage of hardware and software.
Some of the stuff he's saying here is contradicting what they started saying when PS5 was coming out ahead in a lot of cross-gen 3P games once the systems launched, just sayin'.
So which is it? Are the tools super-easy and just continuation of the XBO/One X tools and quick to get results going, or do they have a learning curve that takes time and that's why Series X hasn't been consistently outperforming PS5? He can't say it's because devs aren't really taking advantage of the RDNA2 featureset because they aren't really taking too much advantage of PS5's advanced features, either, and cross-gen games at launch shouldn't need to do that.
Gotta keep it consistent or people gonna notice stuff like I just said.
💪Xbox Series X♥️
The difference between PlayStation and Xbox this gen: Xbox made a console so that developers could easily make games on pc. PlayStation completely revolutionized how games are made. This wouldn’t be possible if they had to take into account PCs. I’m glad PlayStation developers won’t be held back by a slower ssd and making games for pc. I want exclusives!
Variable frequency> locked frequency according to REAL developers but I feel bad for jason has to say what he says because he works for Microsoft
Very interesting!!!!
These console fanboys… you guys are the worst
The Xbox One X had a powerful GPU but a weak CPU. The Series S now has a powerful CPU but a weak GPU. It's a shame that will be the baseline for Xbox games.

“We wanted to remove all the technical limitation” and so they created the Xbox series S to create a technical limitation…
Jason, thank you very much for keeping the BC games! You speak directly to me when you say that you want to relive those old memories you had when playing games 10-15 years ago. There is no reason why we should not be able to play the games we grew up with. Thank you for understanding that!
