  1. I've been playing pyromancer. So far the blend between gunfire and skills is very very good. The graphics are very good not top-tier but very good. The voice acting is damn good. The story is compelling and keeps you wanting more. Going from outrider to altered is very cool during that sequence of events. I'm really interested in the time between that. Going from just discovering a planet and stepping on plan it to waking up and there's a big war going on. I think they did that pretty damn good. Pretty amazing what this small group of people were able to accomplish with this game. I hoping that people give it a chance because they did a lot with a little here

  2. The cut scenes locked at 30 is a joke in this day and age (even for consoles), I can't find a way to turn the Motion Blur off, my 2070 Super is struggle bus'ing to keep 70fps, and I can't get Match Making to work.

Also; I'm getting destroyed by the first story boss…

I like it tho; the direction and all that feels nice, the story is cool so far…

  3. My only gripe is motion blur, Everything else is great. Graphics are great not as good as other AAA games, but nothing to complain about. I favor gameplay over graphics anyway. Sensitivity acceleration is fast but console aim assist balances it so it works. Honest opinion, this game is more fulfilling and fun than destiny and division. Looking forward to the release. Ps hold your throwable ability for a second then let go and you get a aim arc for the technos abilities.

  4. I do like the game so far I've only crashed once on the xbox one x too much was on screen at one time I think and controller feels abit weird at 1st but u get kinda used to it the camera shake is too much for me in cutscenes but I do look forward to putting hours into this game and I hope they do plan to add stuff in the future

    Edit: 2 crashes

  5. Honestly everything we've been given previously by the devs (broadcasts ect) the demo lives up to what the promised nothing more nothing less. Yes the motion blur is annoying but they've already said via twitter that it will be fixed in main game!!

  6. So far the game was enjoyable on PS5. A few minor issues like the camera shaking or a few dialogue issues, but nothing that's a dealbreaker. I still remain to be skeptical just because I have been burned before, but at least, I can say that this game is heading in the right direction.

  7. i'm so annoyed by the movement and the 'cover' mechanic. the movement feels floaty but also clunky. It feels worse than the Division. Doing skills while moving felt very unfluid.

  8. I play as Devastator and I LLOOOVED It!!!!one question… I saw in the dialogs That are delay some times in the cutscenes…i believe they will fix it!!!I loved it and I'm happy I pre order it

  9. Just finished my play-though as a Devastator.
Love the game-play and story etc, etc
I don't like that combat is an arena and will be a deal breaker for me if it doesn't open up levels. I'll wait for the reviews before buying this, certainly not a preorder.

Go down a hallway, into an arena, mobs spawn, kill the mobs
Go down a hallway, into an arena, mobs spawn, kill the mobs, key drops from final mob
Open the door to the boss fight, cutscene.

  10. Looks/sounds pretty solid for what I was expecting. I haven't been able to get past authentication all day, and now Live is also down. Bit of a disappointment with the hype I've had for this one, but a little longer wait certainly won't be what kills me. 😅

  11. My biggest issues were that you cNt play single player without having a connection to the server, which to me makes it a live service game. You also can't even get to a menu without a connection. So when I lost connection earlier, I had to alt tab out to quit the game. Also annoying that the first hour I played 10 minutes and the rest were cutscenes. I can I understand that in the full game, but in a playable demo, they should have cut all that out and got right to where the gameplay actually really starts. After finally getting my first ability, I started to have fun. But getting there was aggravating for me. Cutscenes, loading screen, cutscenes, loading screen, they need to fix all that. But once you get past all that crap and get to the actual gameplay, it starts to get fun. Still think that needing a connection to play single player is crap, and can't even get to the menu for that matter. Gameplay itself when you do get to play is solid.

  12. The cutscenes kept bugging on me and would repeat or completely skip dialogue making the lip syncing way off. Also the main character threw me off. He/she at times would be a complete psychopath while other times very compassionate. Its extremely noticeable with the first side quest with the vendor

  13. Cutscenes capped at 30 fps and I sadly can't agree about the voice acting…
The game is extremely linear and the story is nothing we've never seen before…
I was quite hyped for that game but gotta say that demo left a bitter taste for me.
    Still a personal opinion.

  14. The story is better than I expected, but it's an average game. Nothing special about it. For what it is, destiny is better. The abilities in this game are cooler and more fun to use, but it's not a better game than Destiny. This gets really old, really quick. And with no PVP you don't get the replayability. Let's be honest here people. The levels are super tiny in the demo. A strike in destiny is easily 5x larger with more boss/mini boss battles. I like this channel but I'm starting to think you like ANYTHING new for the sake of "new." I mean, this isn't it. This will not be the game to pull people from destiny or their looter shooter. It's NOT EVEN CLOSE to Borderlands in terms of scale, replayability, and customizing skills and abilities.

  15. The game has some good stuff and some rough edges. The intro with the bad cut to black editing and the voices being low and hard to hear, wasn’t great. However, after the initial “twist” the story gets interesting and you get your powers and the gameplay takes off. I’m not huge on the layouts of the levels. They feel very “built” and not organic. Still early in the game so maybe that changes. But I’m enjoying the core gameplay.

  16. Honestly. No. If this is the state the game is going to launch in, I don't think it's worth it. Black screens in cutscenes, missing and janky textures, poor graphics quality on ultra settings with a RTX3070, stuttering… The game itself seems fun, but there are a lot of things that are wrong from a visual standpoint.

  17. I enjoyed playing Devastator today, though it didn't run super smooth on my hardware. Honestly I think the main thing that needs tweaking is the sound design of ambient sounds effects and the guns.

  18. Is this actually a good game, or are all the Anthem fans looking for that “rebound” game to divert from the recent pain of Anthem. Similar to a relationship, when you get burned and your heart is broken and you’re searching for that rebound person to serve as both something to grab on to to stabilize yourself and also something to redirect feelings of sadness into feelings of excitement and a temporary quick fix….

TLDR: Good game, or quick fix temporary solution to Anthem heartbreak??

  19. Idk, honestly the game play looks meh. Maybe I might get it but ill wait until after the release and watch the reveiws. After cd project red, anthem, fallout 76, wolfenstien young blood, ghost recon, marvel alliances, star wars battlefront 2, mass effect 3, im not buying into hype videos or giving the benefit of the doubt anymore. The gameplay looks ok but nothing gamebreaking or fantastic
