  1. Been doing this exact method for 2 days and got 3 legendaries within 3 or 4 hours at the beginning but since then not a single more. As Pyromancer I find it best to just walk across the bridge and going a few steps towards the boss location an immediatly run back to spawn. This triggers the captain and the other elite enemies and you can easily take them out at spawn while having cover from the ads.

    There also is a 5 chest route near the solar tower that you can loot without having to fight enemies. If you do this route you can then head to the McCain boss fight and have 7 chests in total and the loot from the bosses and elite enemies. You can clear the whole area but instead of finishing the mission you just return to lobby and load up the tower mission again. This way your XP wont reset and you are maxed tier 5 all the time and the McCain misson will reset aswell. So dou can do the whole route over and over again without having to start the McCain sidequest again.
