The PS5 and Xbox Series X look radically different, but they conceal a lot of remarkably similar hardware. Both CPU and GPU are similar, with Microsoft grabbing a clear edge in the overall numbers game. Sony, as always, has the edge in terms of exclusive games and RAW SSD speed. Both Sony and Microsoft are offering extensive backwards compatibility to pad out libraries in the early days.
