What is a change you'd like to see for the full release of Baldur's Gate 3?
Now with the pandemic dnd sessions are rare so common!
wanna play my Human bladesinger with magic initiate on warlock for hex!
Baldurs Gate : Origin Sin 3 will be ready when its ready!!
In other words…the D&D rule set is a convoluted mess, so it'll take awhile.
to be honest like act 2 and like 2 more classes would make us content enough for this year. giving them plenty of time to work on bugs and work on act 3
TLDR – He doesnt know anything about the release date
Dos2 is still amazing in 2021… I don't mind waiting till like Q1 2022 tbh
When I compare Bannerlord EA with DOS3 EA I am mildly disappointed. The one updates nearly on a weekly basis and the other updates when they see fit.
I get the people that are afraid that the game is never going to be finished because it feels like that. When was the last major update or even hotfix for DOS3? Early december… Just saying Larian is not making it easy for a lot of people to stay positive about the game… With an EA price that high you are allowed to expect a better update cycle :/
Maybe never
2021 I think we'll have the rest of the classes and PHB races, but it will be AT MINIMUM 2022 before the game is released. I can see 2021 maybe having another part opened up, but due to the possible game breaking nature of 3rd level and up spells, Larian has a lot of work ahead of them to account for these things.
Really hope they'd roll out some of the other classes soon. Atm it doesn't matter at all which classes you pick and play, they all perform and feel exactly the same
Larian doesnt have Early Access they have demos.
combat system is just too boring for me, they should have that hybrid pause/action combat system they have with dragon age.
Is it on console
My only real issue with the early access release of BG3 is that all indications are that my favorite classes in BG1 and BG2 to play, the monk and the barbarian, are both omitted. That said, it's also going to be interesting to see how different it is from the original BG game, as the original games were AD&D second edition rules. From what I hear, BG3 is going to based on a much later (5th edition) rule set, so will be very different to play.
They have already announced it would be released winter of 2021. I'm guessing Dec.
hopefully they`ll make a real time with pause mode. As it is now it does not feel like baldurs gate but like divinity 2.5
Early access destroyed gaming industry.
I'm almost certain it's not this year maybe not even next year either
i really dont trust game companies. i believe the game is mostly already finished. they are just dragging shit out on purpose. not to hurt players but to make more $$$ overall 5 months and this is all they got when divinity was completely finished after 5 months of ea….why release it so soon if it was this unfinished?? $$$$$$$$$$
2023
2023 late
2021 does seem unrealistic I agree. This game is a very ambitious game, it's a completely different mould from Divinity Original Sin.
Divinity came out just a year and I mean almost spot on a year after EA release date. But again BG looks far from complete so I can't see this being a year.
tbh I rather wait till early 2022 and get a good game day one than a let say mid 2021 release and get to play a bugfest for the 6 first months.
They need more time to polish the game and build up hype. The investment in this game is much bigger than Divinity 2 and they need to sell more to make a profit. So I hope they don't get it out in 2021, because there is no real big hype for it yet. You can see that with view counts on videos.
Fuck me so we already saw 1/3 of the game?
