  1. Because obviously what a game that's hemorrhaging players because of how grindy, boring, repetitive, generic, and tedious it is needs is more grind.

  2. This game is dead and they know it. They just want no one to play it so that when they cancel the roadmap like Anthem, no one cares same they don't get sued.

  3. It's almost like game companies go: "Okay, so we have this game we need to only BARELY keep alive until we start shipping the DLC and expansions! What's that? It's already dead. Dressing up the game with fancy new colors and DLC won't bring players back? NONSENSE!"

Why do they do this? Why do they expect people to wait 6 months or more with a boring and grindy game, and then expect them to just wait patiently until they bring you some new content?

It's like someone selling you a house, only for them to not tell you it has neither running water or electricity, but if you just sit tight with what you already got, they will get on that in around 6 to 8 months… You need to be a certain type of special to allow them to do that to you, and if you are like 90% of gamers, you will have moved on to another game and never looked back… You know, like what people did with Anthem…

  4. Marvel's Avengers wasn't a great game, but it also wasn't all that bad of a game. Repetitive? Absolutely. But still a half decent game. The biggest problem is that once you complete the single player, there's nothing there to incentivize you to keep playing. And that, in a nutshell, is a major problem with live service games.

  5. awarded faster….? more like people wish to play the game with all skill unlocked. imagine paying and playing an action /fighting game but u can only use 4 or 5 basic moves at the beginning. better just play MMORPG

  6. So they didn't make a sequel to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided because it didn't sell well enough, so they moved onto Marvel Avengers and now it's not doing great either. Hopefully that means potential Deus Ex Sequel?

  7. Why Is this game still going?
    Seriously, why?
Based on the numbers, I see absolutely no reason for them to continue bothering with it.
How is a live service game supposed to survive with an average of 415 players?
