🤔 NEW HERE? 🤔
Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil.

From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.

Choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.

Abducted, infected, lost. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength. Caught in a conflict between devils, deities, and sinister otherworldly forces, you will determine the fate of the Forgotten Realms together.

Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through our biggest world yet.

The Forgotten Realms are a vast, detailed and diverse world, and there are secrets to be discovered all around you — verticality is a vital part of exploration. Sneak, dip, shove, climb, and jump as you journey from the depths of the Underdark to the glittering rooftops of the Upper City. How you survive, and the mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

allows you to combine your forces in combat, and split your party to follow your own quests and agendas. Concoct the perfect plan together… or introduce an element of chaos when your friends least expect it.

offer a hand-crafted experience, each with their own unique traits, agenda, and outlook on the world. Their stories intersect with the entire narrative, and your choices will determine whether those stories end in redemption, salvation, domination, or many other outcomes.

based on the D&D 5e ruleset. Team-based initiative, advantage & disadvantage, and roll modifiers join combat cameras, expanded environmental interactions, and a new fluidity in combat that rewards strategy and foresight.

through your choices, and the roll of the dice. No matter who you play, or what you roll, the world and its inhabitants will react to your story.

allows you to pause the world around you at any time even outside of combat. Whether you see an opportunity for a tactical advantage before combat begins, want to pull off a heist with pin-point precision, or need to escape a fiendish trap. Split your party, prepare ambushes, sneak in the darkness — create your own luck!

  1. In the heat of battle Odd didn't noticed but it seems when he wanted to split the healing potions he gave all to the other character, using his bonus action. After that he couldn't split on that round due to lack of bonus action. It wasn't a bug. If so you can share/use inventory regardless of range but uses an action.

  2. You can always tell when people dont actually play table top games… when I cam across the mindflayer controlling the 3 ppl. I just killed the mindflayer. Then his mind control faded and the 3 ppl went on living

  3. The biggest improvement I want to see is Odd reading the descriptions on spells, skill, and actions. Our lovable Thief with sharp teeth has two dash skilled a Action one and a bonus actions one, for Hex every attack you use has a saving throw Take a fire AoE needing a Dex saving throw Throw a Hex (Dex) on it and the Wizards Burning Hands skill is more likely to hit, Enemy too close shove them away and then cast your spell, got no range weapon why not throw a boot at the enemy using the throw action(Or maybe a dagger), Thieves can use a light finesse weapon in each hand which can then attack with the main and bonus action throw a nice rapier and shortsword his way, and other things like these. D&D is very much making notes on the small things it's how you can make a conversation time your friends are having so you get bored and wander off leading to digging tunnels and causing a tunnel collapse and at level 1 breaking a campaign. (Really, I love your content just a little reading for your own benefit . Spells, actions, and skills that work well together really help you. *Thumbs up*Also Vamp with rapier can you get anymore classy)

  4. Quick tip for the battle at the chapel: Shoot the rope above the fighters. The massive stone will fall and take out one or both of them and open an alternate entrance to the halls beneath.

  5. 'It's fun playing a D&D game, knowing something about it' – that's precisely how I felt when I played BG 1&2, my familiarity with 2E D&D added a lot more depth to my playthrough.

  6. Great fun! But I don't get why in every single play-through I've seen, people just rush in without inspecting the landscape first – there are little traps and tricks at the scene of almost every battle that can give you a huge advantage (like the granite block and the fact that two of the members of the first enemy party were conveniently standing on precipices). And no one ever seems to use the exploding mushrooms in the Underdark tactically!

  7. only just started, but man the astarion hate! i've noticed that most male players don't like him, & most female players adore him, odd that lol (& yes, i am a female, & as i said, i like him better than all the other companions put together; gale doesn't really annoy me though, & wyll is just boring & a cliche, while i absolutely LOATHE lae'zel & shadowheart) lol
