Luca, why do podcast when you not feeling well or tired? You not duty bound to release podcast every week. It was painful and bit funny to listen to you as it felt like someone holding gun and forcing you to do podcast. Lol
Hey Luca and Co., I've read a little of "A life of Jung. ", this week, which led me to watching some lectures by Jordan Peterson, awesome, if you feel like giving yourself a knock on the head, go down his rabbit hole. "Enders Game. " is a great book, the movie was done well too. Game on!!!!
From my understanding this is what may have happen with the Quartering, a twitch streamer name Zombaekillz, or one of her fans accused him of swatting her, with no proof. They said Zombaekillz was swatted and they accused him, with no proof of it happening. Before this happened the Quartering had an archived post asking Twitter if a Tweet was fake that Zombaekillz claimed was of her saying something like punching a white woman in her face. Or a face a white woman makes before getting punch to sleep. IDR, but Zombaekillz heard about this and she and her followers went after him. ZK, accused the Quartering of photoshopping the Tweet. Another Twitter account named Black Girl Gamers (?), said later that ZK was swatted and they accused him of it and they went after his sponsors. Also the police was sent to the Quartering's parents because they thought he has something to do with the swatting.
She was also the person that went after another YouTuber named #GriffinGaming, for calling her out too, for doing this type type of stuff, e.g., she used the race card to try to get a free console(s).
Great energy as always Luca! I enjoyed some scenes in the Wanda Vision finale. Some moments were dope and worth watching if you're a Marvel fan. Overall it's a good comic relief show. I liked Darcy and Detective Woo. They were both hilarious

Oh winter soldier was about the nanny state. Bucky was a manturian candidate. Operation paperclip was real. That's all I got. Yeah current politics had nothing to do with those movies.
Cancel culture is old hat and the alarmists that want to call it "censorship" are doing it for a bit of pearly clutching IMHO. What you are seeing is the result of how a free market works.
Company X makes Y product or service. How the public perceives Y is of utmost importance to the company as it has the potential to adversely affect sales and profits. Thus the company is more accommodating for the simple fact that money is on the table.
Do you think the publishers of Dr.Seuss give a flying f— about racism? i think it is naive to think so. They made the calculation that its better to withhold publishing for 6 of the books in question rather than face a potentially larger backlash. Ride the wave for awhile, then quietly release the books again when the public goes cold on the topic. Hell, i wouldnt be shocked if you saw expensive "historical collections" with a foreword on the issue of racism. Warner Bros. actually did this VERY thing with costly DVD collections (think 500 bucks a pop) that included several offensive episodes that were dropped from tv syndication.
As for the dude that lost his position due to past videos? i'm willing to bet a cup of coffee the company saw the clouds brewing, gave him QUITE the severance package in exchange for touting the line , and just wanted to nip a potential problem in the bud.
To those that call that censorship, i suggest you look for a more legal definition of the term as this does not meet that criteria at all. He posted what he wanted with no impediment, the public became aware of it then decided to voice their concerns to the company (which they have the freedom to do; let companies know how your wallets view something), and the company of their own internal calculations made a decision.
That isn't censorship on any level. The consumer to producer relationship is a part of FREE MARKET CAPITALISM.
To give an extreme example, i could hire 2 different people for a managerial position in my company. Both resumes and estimations of competence are equal. But one dude has a swastika tattoo on his forehead and the other does not. Am i forced to evaluate both equally? Of course not. I am free to hire the worker best suited for the job, and if i feel that the tattoo would create a workplace distraction that is my prerogative.
Was the man free to get the tattoo? yup. Does that mean he is free from SOCIETAL consequences? nope.
These arguments are older than dirt and honestly began to arise in earnest when we moved from being land locked serfs to a king to a more modern, diversified (in terms of specialization) workforce.
