A renowned player in the Hollow Knight community, Snowleaf, or Cotton, was recently accused of using invincibility cheats in their hitless runs. They were one of the most respected players in the community, known for incredible hitless boss and Pantheon videos. But it turns out that even great players are sometimes cheaters.

  8. What I learned today is that HK not only has a large Chinese HK community but also a large HK speed run community as well, which is insane!! 😯
    This is amazing considering HK is essentially a indie game from Australia. 😆

    I believe in second chances but… How do you ever allow this person on the leaderboards again now that they've lied this often? You'll never know if the new achievements are legit, or if they just got better at cheating.

  16. meanwhile i used the invincibility bug to get the stupid achievement 😛 (not gonna even try to do godhome legit. sounds like too much of a pain which would lead me to dislike this game that i love)

  23. I agree with this video whole-heartedly. Seeing the clip of dream with what he did say while the clip was playing made me feel offended.

    Tbh, I dropped the argument a whole ago after dream made his response. If there was new found evidence or better statistics to look over then I would gladly change my opinion. But it is as stands, dream didn't cheat nor lie until proven otherwise.

    Dream stated the #'s used against him were wrong and that he had a professional in the field of astro-statistics working out the math.

    It could have been a lie, but the group doing the math against dream acknowledged that they did say things that weren't fully true. And one of them stepped forward an said on dreams video that "it was complete chaos, so I stopped working with them on it." So I can not fully trust the speed running moderator's with this decision, which is why I'm offended. To assume people around us are liers and cheaters is just disgusting.
    Proof is all we need, and we seemingly have 2 unreliable sources here. If something changed and or happened in this discussion, than I would like to know about it.

  24. Why would you cheat in Hollow Knight of all games. In Minecraft or some other game, you could fain great RNG. If you should have taken damage in a game like Hollow Knight, it's obvious. It's not something you can just hide unless you frame by frame edit everything and catch every error.
