Isn't pve mandatory to farm gear with good stats? eg: rogue pvp dagger gives versa/crit but the best stats are versa/mastery? Thanks

I was told there is a catch up mechanic on soul ash, making it so you can get what you missed the previous weeks. Can somebody clarify?

I don't see where it says 1k anima cap weekly, in fact, I've got 4k anima on my main at this point.
If you miss one week does the soul ash carry over to the following week ?

My best legendary (mwmonk, Tear of Morning) is from one of the last bosses in the new raid. Also I only have five bis stat items from pvp. So I gotta do raid or m+ for rest of the items plus raid to get my best legendary. Doesn't feel much different from BfA.

One addition from me if u don't mind – Engineering also gives planner as back upgrade (pandas recipe), that is very useful in BG and WPVP too.
Can you confirm sockets are actual upgrades this time around? In BFA they turned out to lower your stats in PVP. Not much sense to grinding to exalted for 80 stat points if they'll end up making your stats worse when you enter arena.

Guess I'll fall behind this week. Can't make it out of the 3rd Gruop of Thorgast because I always die at 5th floor vs a miniboss :(. 153 gear lvl (ye it's low)
But right now the best gear comes from mythic dungeons, it's far better than pvp gear and it's kinda easier to get actually, since you don't have to farm 10s of bgs. Do you think this will change? I hate doing pve to gear for pvp…

Hey, great video! I noticed you said that you do not need to do mythics to be competetive in pvp, could you explain that a little more? It takes until renown 22 to be able to upgrade pvp gear to rank 7. So that means until about 7 weeks from now you will only be able to get around ilvl 184 with pvp gear (I believe that is rank 5 pvp gear) while in mythics +7 you will get ilvl 200 gear and you can get some with haste/vers. So wouldnt you want to get the mythic gear along side the conqest gear?
+16 secondary stat x 6 sockets = up to +96 secondary stat versus the +80 you mentioned in video.
The real question is what ilvl gear will be tied to what ratings? and how this will be compared to the mythic+ dungeons. For example, In BFA it was much easier to get Mythic +15 gear versus being 2400+. Essentially, unless you were a high end pvp'er, you had to do Mythic 15+ and on top of that the gear was better and came faster as well. Hopefully this is all been iterated upon….but we will find out in less than a week…
