Elegy for the End Showcase, Review, and Analysis for ALL CHARACTERS! – Genshin Impact

Is this weapon good on Venti? Or any of the bow characters? My initial frame data, damage calcs, and showcase for the brand new 5 star bow, the Elegy for the End. Featuring Venti, Ganyu, Fischl, Diona, and Amber as the wielders!

  1. At first, this bow sounded to me like one of the safest picks ever, then I started thinking about it… Then I saw the math broken down by several youtubers and was actually surprised just how underwhelming it is even compared to my own low expectations. Not a fan of the exclusive 4*'s either, especially if you really want their refinements too, I mean come on, 4*'s are supposed to be accessible…

  2. Depends on how you play Venti but I think this bow is broken for support Venti. You get EM,atk% and the VV buff with just 1 Venti Q and swap to do big damage with your Main DPS. Also the ER substat on the bow guarantees Venti Q before cool down. By my experience, Venti requires 180% ER for a guaranteed Q spam unless you use favonius bow in which case you need 150% ER.Now you can use Atk% sands on Venti without sacrificing Q spam and EM lol.

  3. Hu Tao will probably get less benefit than other chars from this buff because her base attack is so much lower relative to her actual attack value when using her E

  4. Glad someone pointed out the (sort of) 5head move from mihoyo. If i was a content creator I would've made a whole video about it lol. Amos bow at release had way less value than skyward harp but then ganyu was released. PJWS was a very unlucky pull early in the game (as opposed to getting an early diluc or another 5* character) but then people actually whaled to get it for xiao (only to have it powercreeped by homa ofc lol). Dropping DEF artifacts was very unlucky/painful, then Albedo was released. Of course there are way more examples but goes to show in a lot of games meta changes can't be predicted by players or even the developers. Of course from a business standpoint it makes sense for mihoyo to implement new changes to ensure a 5 star item can't be considered "useless"
