Matt, appreciate the effort and positivity you bring to the community (it's really what draws me to your channel over other ones)! You are genuinely such a nice and considerate person that you put your own health/comfort at risk for us. As much as I'd love information as a f2p player, it's important for you to know that we are here to support you as well so please don't put yourself at risk of legal issues just for us.

Hey Matt, here's my two cents on this situation:
1. Leaks can definitely create hype which can turn to satisfaction or disappointment to players, no one knows until the official content is out. Hyping unfinished content creates pressure on the game developers. There are more cons than pros in leaks due to their incomplete state. It may change as it is being developed. Leaks can never be stopped but consuming and discussing them can be avoided which is better in your situation as a content creator.
2. Mihoyo has been very transparent on its stance with leaks since the very beginning. We are all aware of it. Safest we can do is to avoid it. Then let's throw them all of our feedback regarding other significant matters related to the official game content.
CREATE YOUR OWN CONTENT. DO NOT JUST REPOST OTHERS' CONTENT. HAVE SOME ORIGINALITY.
I want nice full official teasers, announces and releases of new updates. Not leaks. I don't want to know all talents, all constellations, all stats, all animations, all voice lines from data miners.
What happened with 2 future characters is very bad. I am completely disappointed in who they are. I have no interest and no hype anymore.

Don't give your account info to youtubers like Tenha and Mtashed for them to help you roll for shit. Simple as that.
genshin's solution against leakers is create a ROADMAP content.
Leaks on new characters seem to come out so far ahead of the actual release that I've started to ignore them. Like a banner or two ahead of release is nice, but I feel like months ahead is too much.
I think not only delaying and spending that hurting mihoyo, but quiting player and *1 review is also hurt because someone did not get Venti 😂

From what I remember the MiHoYo Genshin Discord was quite full, which is why people were previously unable to join it, this may also be the case now, trying to rejoin the channel. I'm not sure why you were kicked out, it may have been "clean up of inactive accounts" (see Server Member Prune option), or targeted because of the content shared on your YouTube channel, though that information does not come from their Discord.
When it comes to leaks, I think it's nice to see which characters will release in the near future, it gets people excited and they can decide to save up their primogems (especially F2P). Seeing their element, getting an idea for the skills, maybe some animations.. but I don't think it's necessary to know all the ins and outs of a patch before it releases, the same goes for exact character/weapon stats which are subject to change. You cannot consider something that hasn't been released yet a "nerf," as it was not officially released yet, this was all testing phase.
I think exact character stats, event details, and these types of "leaks" can be covered as they officially release information about or patch it into the game. Deciding to do so however, will mean your channel will be "lagging" behind those that still decide to cover the information before the official release.
I like to be surprised about the events and story they will release when they release it, not beforehand.

You can start by deleting the Eula leak video you posted literally moments after mihoyo tweeted this kinda stuff 🤔 Kinda comes off as a spit in their face 😅🤣
If a player decides not to spend money on the game to wait for better content is not because leaks but because the game is trash right now

Without the Eula leak i wouldn't even be playing right now, my whole reason to farm is for her. Mihoyo mad but the reason most players are still here after 2 patches of being a delivery and now a dating sim (AkA nothing really fun) is because of these leaks… they said it them selfs… they made hu tao a 5* because of leaks…

So billion dollar company wants to make more billions by time gating info so you always feel compelled to spend. But we do get those sweat events that give us 20 promos so free to play and low spending account can look forward to a 10 pull once every few months.
Just leak the character, the element and the weapon. The stats are for full on metaslaves, if you think a character is fun or goodlooking go for it.
Well yeah they are, because all ppl that are leaking info on future content are making players make strategies to save up primos instead of letting them just enjoy and play the game without being so sus about the new patches. Esp. since 1.3 was out with future knowledge and hackers cracking into MiHoYo's game codes and finding out info about not only 1.4 but 1.5.
I appreciate your videos very much. You present the content in a very informational and fun way! Its very hard to stay up to date as a non-Chinese player so its really cool to be able to know the things happening. Your enjoyment of the game help me enjoy it more too!

I think you should stop talking about leaks especially since those leaks are about an update from 6 weeks from now. It is techincally illegal and you shouldn't put your channel and work at risk
This whole situation just keeps getting better and better. Because mihoyo fully expects Tartaglia's banner to underperform, they added Rosaria to it to hopefully squeeze few extra bucks out of this banner. Unfortunately for them some russian hacker leaks 1.5 which apparently will bring up a 10/10 waifu. Because people are still mad at rosaria's "nerf" they will now skip Tartaglia's banner because who wants to summon on a censored unit when you can wait for a month and summon for this brand new unit that looks actually great.
