  1. Even just a side quest where you help one of the nerevarines associates, taking the feeling you get from Arniels endeavors and making a whole quest around helping the nerevarine with a number of tasks. Even if we don't meet him it'll still be cool af

  2. My prediction is your character is going to be the unsung hero that helps the main character, who will be a sword-singer.

Plot going something like, you help this person re-awaken sword-singing which then is used to defeat some bad guy, what ever that maybe.

  3. Look- I've been theorizing sword singing for years now and honestly fuck that.
I don't need to be another special someone.
Lore wise sword singers weren't innate power houses anyways they needed years of training.
And they were the best warriors the world had ever seen.
And you can't be one of the best martial artists in the world…
And have Skyrim combat, they can't do not only from a lore prospective is this dumb (especially since they're all dead and gone, with the book of circles being ontop of every Redguards fireplace, and still they don't know wtf) but from a gameplay perspective they can't pull it off. (I've lost 80% of my faith in Bethesda)and why would they? Why can't we just be a normal person who trains to be great?

Now before anyone says anything: there are prodigy sword singers who can create a sort of level 1 Spirit sword- however this was just a simple manifestation of light, and they wouldn't go anywhere without training.
So no it's not like you'll be dragonborn: sword mode and already be able to cut through magic and armor like scythe on a wheat field within the first 30 minutes of gameplay.

The idea of becoming a sword saint (because we all know that's where we're going if being a sword singer is the case) peevs me. Just go away with this theory.

    Edit: furthermore!
"But Isahi! You said sword singers need to train to become great, and as a sword singing protege, you'll HAVE to train to be great"
Listen- this is bethesda we're talking about, likely we're gonna do 3-4 quests before we're able to manifest the Shiehai with minimal effort, or even cool down.

Which brings me to my second point- you can't just become a sword singer by going around collecting memory stones from Temples of virtues of war
(In sky baby terms: you can't just go around to collect word walls to become more powerful)
Sword singers trained under a master, and simply collecting memory stones from these temples just simply isn't enough to become a sword singer- besides you would think that descendants of these powerful warriors, would already fucking do this. There would already be a hidden order of sword saints
There'll be nothing unique about you. But you know what? At least even then being a sword singer would make sense as you'll have trainers.

P.S If becoming a sword singer is an option then you're going to be limited to a sword, short singer mentality and training dictated at the sword is the only weapon that you will use, And for Bethesda to just make you a sword singer and you can use destruction magic while using a mace. Is just dumb!

But it doesn't matter in the end this one is dummm 👏 next👏 Meme

  4. A possible sequel set in Hammerfell? Bring in the curved swords, camels and sufi music….

Also, mod authors have already made a second Great War mod in which Ulfric signs a treaty with Hammerfell to take up arms against the Dominion.

And I won't be optimistic about a previous Bethesda hero returning in the sequel – there'll most likely be an easter egg but there'll definitely be a new hero who starts off as a prisoner.

  5. 4:08 wow, a lot was wrong with that statement. For one, Skyrim takes place over 200 years after TES 1-4, and you also seem to have forgotten about TES 4,oblivion, the game that took place bewteen morrowind and Skyrim.

  6. I don't think Bethesda should have either Sword-singing or the Nerevarine in the next game.
First Sword-singing, it's a melee-focused ability and so limits your roleplaying options. You want to play a frail mage or an agile archer? Well, fuck you, to beat the big bad evil guy you need to use this skill that's more close and personal. It's a bad choice for roleplaying and the only acceptable way to insert it into the game is by doing something like in Oblivion where you aid someone else to gain that power.
Second, the Nerevarine's race, gender, and overall abilities should never be revealed. Foul Murder and all that. I think many people would prefer to keep it unknown so that there's meaning in butchering poor Nerevar so that he could be reborn as anything.

  7. I don’t want my Bosmer stealth archer to be forced to be a sword singer just like I didn’t want my Khajiit thief to be forced to be the Dragonborn. Sword singing is cool but I really hope it’s optional
