I'm about to just buy a ps5 from somewhere else. No not eBay I'll never pay thousands of dollars for a console, screw that.
I've bought a console from a company called StockX before. Over a month ago, and honestly it wasn't that bad. It was a bit higher price, but it wasn't 1000 dollars or 2000 dollars.
What they do is take your console through Authentication. You buy it, and there's a seller that has to ship the console to the StockX facility, and StockX goes through Authentication, and if authentication is successful, (which it mostly is) then StockX will ship it to your place. The whole process may take weeks, which I got my Xbox within about 2 weeks.
Now I'm hesitant to do StockX once again for the ps5. I feel like I'm just wasting my time fighting against scalper bots 😤 No matter how quick I am on catching the restocks, I just can't manage to get a ps5. So I'm just tempted to go to StockX to just get the dang console. They're legit, the reviews of people getting the console is good I've seen on YouTube as well, I'm not the only one that got a console successfully from stockX. Everyone else can continue battling against scalper bots, but me, I'm just about tempted to go to StockX once again to get a ps5
Shoot I might be one of the suckers to go get a PS4 pro now and chill till they get their shat together. All I have is switch and while it's got a few good games, it's a whole lot of crap to wade through to find the good ones and Nintendo's prices are ridiculous for what they're offering, possibly excepting Breath of the Wild which I still haven't played.
