Hiya Folks! Shh. Do not speak. Observe. The Primus is a banner, Renathal gets to sit at the big kids table, Arbiter just chilling at the side, still afk.
Bolvar gets his one line & then proceeds to afk. Daddy Denathrius does the Endgame fadeaway thingy. Whoo.

***One recommendation I would make: The full Shadowlands story shouldn't be gated behind 4 different covenants. The covenant "allegiance" system can be kept but at least let us experience all 4 sides of the story, as we aided all 4 while questing. We shouldn't have to roll 4 alts. Two was bad enough for BFA (3 for loyalist).

  2. she said "each mortal has to choose a covenant". Very rare characters will speak as if it it's not a single player game. That's usually in dungeons or raids. In a cutscene revolving only your character? ok. It's been "this maw walker" and not "maw walkers" lol.

  3. Ok, Blizzard really fucked up the story.

This mortal this, this mortal that, this mortal with this unique weapon, he make an event that didn't happen in thousands of years, this mortal is so special, etc.

I'm so tired of that shit. I 100% prefer that an iconic character replace the player with these events and that the players are just peons that follow the orders of that character.

Bolvar could have been that main character.

    Good video.

  4. I still don't understand, how exactly did Denathrius cause the drought? He didn't shut the arbiter down, nor did he send all the souls directly to the maw, he only collected and hoarded anima from his own people, so how did he cause the drought for all of shadowlands? Enlighten me.

  5. Bro, the player chars can't be scrubs anymore. Lorewise, how is the player character able to resonate with a stone in the maw that takes you to Orobos and has so much power? Oh no, they're going the anime route and will probably say that player characters are mortal souls possessing a fragment of the first ones' power. Hopefully I'm wrong. Why couldn't they just say that the stone reacts to you because you're mortal? Oh well, this space's story is interesting but it might get too anime by the end.

  6. Archon: "Each mortal must choose a covenant."
Winter Queen: "And then when our realms have regained their strength, we will stand together…"
Player: "Why don't I just carry all four of the covenants to victory at once? You know like a free agent? We're working towards the same goal afte-"
    Blizzard possesses the Arbiter
Blizzard casts you into the Maw
    Blizzard logs out

  7. I like how this dude comes up and is like "yeah turns out Denathrius is a dìck." And everyone just seems to accept it like "seems legit."

You mean after seemingly thousands of years of calling this Denathrius "brother", you just take some random dude's word for it? Without investigation?

I smell poor writing in this lol.

  8. Choosing a covenant makes no sense, you already helped and befriended all four anyway. The expansion would probably be better for not forcing the player into another mandatory system.

  9. A lot of people say that, the eternal ones (the pantheon of death) are stronger than the titan's pantheon. And personnaly i dont think so. Titan are physically stronger to begin with (just check their size compares to the eternals ones) and they can create worlds. One shot old gods and destroy planet. I dont know…

  10. wow, that first scene.

Some of the lore of this game really would be pretty bad ass, if the heroes didn't totally trivialize something on the scale of gods by being able to over come them by hitting them with swords and small balls of ice real gud. Theres no way the "champions" should succeed where other characters of divinity have failed, like against sargarus. No fking way should the story have reasonably allowed for them to win that fight, in that direct of a way.

Its kinda cool, but it all being written around the playable characters is kinda ruining it.
