At this point, every damn game should be launching with some sort of Transmog system. It’s such a popular and frequently asked for thing in games- kinda lame to not implement it

Enjoying Outriders, I got D2 on back burner for now.
It’s literally the Painkiller of co-op looters. Really generic but still fun. It’s no better than Anthem or Avengers, or any other game in the genre that had some less than stellar reviews. I kind of like that the mini map lacks a map, since the entire game is a hallway simulator to an arena, with about 5 objectives: reach arena, clear arena, defend arena, find something out in the arena, talk to someone to drive to the next arena. Outriders is like if The Division gameplay mingled with mechanics from every other game in the genre. I like looters, but I can’t give in to the hype, its solid but nothing much. They need seasons similar to Diablo and Path of Exile, raising a gear score is artificial filler while incentivizing gameplay keep players coming back.
Seems about a c+ maybe. Alot of the issues you have with the game really hit home for me in a serious bad way. 1. Solo play feels horrible. I love playing solo and i dont have a single friend who ever talk about picking up this game. 2. Your person looking like complete owl shit. I spend alot of time, resources, and sometimes money on making my hero look like a bonafide badass. 3. Very little weapon types. I like variety. 4. Loosy story although that can be overlooked if the game feels amazing(d1 and d2 vanilla for instances). 5. The fact that there is NO season content and unless they add dlc this is it. Ill get bored quick.
All in all i just rather play d2 a game i put 250+ days worth of hours into, than spend another 60$ on a game that probably wont even peek my interest for 50 hours. This is going to be a VERY HARD no from me.

Pro tip…. Run technomancer healing from any type of dmg and skills have massive dps

Here's my simple trick, if a game cost $60 and I see myself putting in at least 60 hours of quality(fun) playtime into it, then I'd say yes….if not then no. On the flip side though, how would you guys rate Outriders vs Warframe? For me it's Warframe all day, which is a free game….this dims the light on Outriders slightly.
Game shared it from a friend. Definitely not worth the 60$, but it is a reasonable grab for 20$. I might would bump it to 30$ if the servers weren’t garbage. Still haven’t finished story with buddies due to server problems when we try to play:/
Disagree about the story and characters. I enjoy both. Totally agree about the fashion game. Fashion could be on point but totally needs transmog.
No live service? I've invest a solid 40 hours now and I feel a bit sad about that. I feel like the developers may re-evaluate that (hopefully).
I spent 60 bucks on last of us 2, got about 24 hours of gameplay out of it and that experience was well worth it. I think I will spend way more time in Outriders, so yea I'm more than happy to cut coupons for a week to get this game
