  1. Chris Taylor is like the one guy every championship team has, who is not an all-star, but he still comes through as a key role player. Mickey Hatcher of 88 , Juan Uribe of the SF Giants, Dave Robert’s as a Red Sox…the X factor

  2. It seems that Julio Urias just continues to fly under the radar from the fan perspective. The casual "playoff run" fans were clamoring for Urias to become the Dodgers next closer after his spectacular playoff outings, both as a starter and most importantly sealing the deal by recording that lasting image of clinching a save and a World Series championship.

It was obvious, and painfully so, that the Dodgers fans were being sucked in by Urias's ability to adapt to the bullpen and those fans were mesmerized when Urias just took over the pen. jus went down to the pen and said, I got your job, your job and…yeah I will close to.

What those fans didn't realize was the fact that Urias was blooming right before our eyes. The earliest stage of superstardom. Urias was just in the midst of stringing together a line of starts for the Dodgers in which he hasn't lost a decision on the mound in Urias's past 19 starts. That is an impressive feat for any pitcher. Sprinkle in Urias holding down the Dodgers "weakest" slot on the team, at that time, by locking the closer position down, in the midst of what he is currently doing as a starter.

This kid will be legendary. Beuhler and Urias will be the future of this Dodgers rotation. Urias deserves more respect on his name. He is a bonafide ace.
