Good News Raptor fans Yuta Watanabe just signed a standard NBA contract with the Raptors
Congrats to Yuta for getting his first standard NBA contract. More then deserved and glad that he will be back for next season. Sure he struggled early in the year at least on offense as he's been great on defense all season. But his struggles seem to just come from a lack of being aggressive and not looking for his offense at all. But over the latest stretch of games he's been more aggressive on the offense. I think early in the year he was on the floor with more established players and felt he shouldn't be looking for his offense. But instead should just be looking for the more established players. But now with the Raptors resting a lot of key players. Yuta has finally been looking for his own offense. Hopefully that translates to him doing the same even when the team has everyone playing.
