Less innovation, more impersonation
Just look at cod zombies. It used to be this huge experience that formed many types of fanbases. You had your Easter egg community, your high round community, your speed run community, etc. it used to take up to weeks of everyone and their mother trying to figure out the Easter egg on the new map and high round strats. Now in Cold War they have quest markers that tell you exactly what to do to complete the Easter eggs. They have self revives that take all the skill out of getting to round 100+. Instead of playing as characters with personalities that the fans grew to love, they just replaced them with the same generic characters you play as in multiplayer. It’s just not fun anymore, it’s zombies without all the charm it used to have.

I mean, at this point you can tell that all Ubisoft wants is money, they've announced that they have like 20 something books coming out over the year, which is ridiculous! Is AC even that big of an IP that deserves that many peripheral products? I doubt if Starwars has that many derived comics and whatsoever coming this year. They are literally milking this IP dry!
I couldn’t have worded better. If every gaming company were to copy fortnite for example, we’d have about 20 versions of fortnite and because of that the main consumers will scatter into 1 of these 20 games. In doing so companies are receiving a fraction of main stream consumers

You hit the nail on the head my friend. As a AC fan since the first game, I hate this rpg style they've been doing. I liked Origins for what it was, but after Odyssey and Valhalla, I'm just done.
