  1. This is really true. I noticed recently that my local game stores are placing the common games behind the glass that would normally be placed on shelfs. They haven’t been getting any new games to move and the place just has the same stuff all week around. As a collector, the thrill of game hunting has really diminished. Im happy people can make money but its getting a little much. Its not stopping me though. Just getting less excited for it.

  2. I have been noticing this as I've been getting into collecting, GameCube games I bought in 2019 and early 2020 have raised at least 10 to 20 dollars in value, and like you were saying the sudden jump in the pokèmon games was something I've recently noticed. I was in the store today and was honestly shocked to see how much Pokèmon Ruby and Sapphire had raised in price. I bought Sapphire just a few years ago for ~20 bucks, now Sapphire is about 60 and Ruby is about 70.
