That's why English voices sucks in JRPG like game and eastern games that are made in japan should be dubbed at all, and instead retain its original superior Japanese voices with subs. BOTW is a good prime example of this.
It would be better if you just supercut the clips instead of explaining all them in detail

The only one game has ever made switch it off because of it's bad acting and that was Need For Speed (2015).
Need for Speed Payback was pretty cringe when it came to voice acting. My eyes rolled every time they talked.
Shemue 3 should’ve had two tracks for voice acting. One that’s typical and regular dubbing, and one that is stilted like the other games

Jess’s annoying voice fits well with this shitty list
I'm sure the actress for Zelda in BotW is a fine actress, but the high pitch she spoke in sounded clearly forced, and I don't know why they decided to use such an obviously forced voice tone for her. It clearly makes the acting sound worse. I suppose they could justify it by giving an in-universe explanation. Zelda is a princess, so they could probably say she forces a very "proper" and "royal" sounding voice when around her subjects. That could make some sense. Nothing in the game gives the sense that this was what Zelda was doing though.
Mipha's voice pitch sounded even more forced.

I don't remember the Japanese dub of Breath of the Wild. But our German dub had a much better Zelda. Here's to hoping that BotW2 will have a more fitting English voice for her. Ugh, that terrible crying took out all the despair out of that scene where she falls into Link's arms during their flight and she mourns all the fallen. It sounded terrible.

I personally loved the English BOTW voice acting.
Death stranding is the worst video game anybody could ever like… I will never understand how something that plays that boring can be considered a video game. All you do is pick up packages and walk around. Kojima needs to quit making video games and should focus on trying to make movies because it's obvious that's what he wants to do. The man has no talent for video games at all and I will stand behind that statement forever because I have never enjoyed any of his games with the exception of the original metal gear solid which was unique at the time but quickly became a joke because kojima can't tell a coherent story. You people need to stop kissing this guy's ass and let him move on to an industry that might actually appreciate him because like I said, he sucks when it comes to video games. I'm not looking to argue with anybody I'm just stating my opinion. Have a wonderful day
