Leaks, Sales & PATCH DATE HINTS? // Escape from Tarkov News – 5/6/21

Today we got confirmation of the date for the upcoming Twitch Rivals event and it drops a massive hint to when we could be seeing patch 12.11 in turn being a hint for the next possible wipe in Escape from Tarkov. We got a new round of leaks from Battlestate Games over on twitter as well which included a NEW GUN… it’s another AK but I’ll take it 🙂

  1. I see that the two posts about rivals are conflicting whether or not it will be public. I'm asking someone from BSG about it and will update here. From what I can tell I think it's a misunderstanding as there are two parts to the tournament. First part public, then second part private. Will update when I know more.
Edit: I heard a rumor that they aren't able to do private servers on any map but factory and labs. So unless they added reserve too (which is totally possible) then it will be BOTH public and private.

  2. The integrated AK suppressor looks like the new Hexagon suppressor they showed on their official VK page. The only difference is that the prototype they showed didn't have those hexagons, but it's still just a prototype.
The suppressor itself (a compensator, actually) is made of 2 pieces held together with screws. The suppressor can be attached and detached really fast with the help of a special button, so it's not actually integrated. The internals are kept as a secret because they're better than usual even though the device itself is rather small, but some parts of the device get hot faster. They are planning to make it from steel and titanium. The suppressor is still being developed and won't be released any time soon. At least, in real life.
But that's just a guess – the photo is still a little different from the prototype.

  3. Rifle Dynamics is a premier American AK build shop. Their AKs have fine-tuned gas systems so in-game they should have good recoil.
Their pistols have a Picatinny rail on the rear trunion so you can attach any compatible stock or brace.
Braces are purely an American thing to comply with cringe NFA regulations, so in-game it'll work with stocks (the picture shows a standard AR carbine buffer tube attached).
Civilian models are semi auto but could be built as full auto and I would expect them to be full auto in game.

  4. they just wiped 4 and half months ago, why should there be a Wipe soon?
Think BSG will lose a lot of casual players since they dont have enought time to spent in short wipes

  5. Great context. Everyone needs more than there salary to be financially stable. The best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly, because money left for saving always end up used with no returns. I started investing in bitcoin mid November 2020 with the help of a well-known -professional Mr Eddie Dewayne and the profit entirely funded my recent duplex.

  7. It'll be cool if you can use the brace the way it was technically intended in tarkov, also the buffer tube of AR/AK "pistols" can easily accept normal stocks, so it would make sense for us to be able to do that in-game.

  8. 704 = STM 9 levels of recoil but semi auto. Widely considered best modern civi version of the AK in every way. Minus full auto. Garand thumb has a great video on it.
