I kinda expected the plot twist with Mia. But I did not expect Ethan getting his heart ripped out, and the game switched to Chris. Legit thought that he died and we finished the game as Chris, but when that soundtrack kicked up shit got real and I was pumped. That is what I call a finale.

What Ethan went through to protect his daughter is something Max can totally understand now that he is also a dad. You can see it in his eyes at the end when Ethan sacrificed himself that Ethan earned Max's respect as a Resident Evil character & not some nobody anymore.
Did anyone notice one of miranda transformation resembles RE4 last boss?. I thought on her leg there was eye.

When Ethan was falling apart it reminds me of V from dmcV what if in the next game Ethan will revive but as someone else like reborn like Vergil 🤔

Ethan is the why Rose is the perfect vessel for the mold. Ethan never changed attitude unlike Mia when Eveline is taking over. He just gained regenerative abilities. He has such strong will that the mold never corrupted him to the point that he (and everyone of us) never realized that he has been infected. Now, imagine Rose having Miranda-level powers, too op. RE9 is gonna be wild.

The Chris part is cool, but I wish they gave him some version of his RE6 move set. Would have been cool to get those kinds of options, even if only for a moment.
Miranda boss fight really reminds me of a Nevan in DMC3. That Frankenstein lab really reminds me of David’s lab in Alien Covenant. And it was cool seeing Fetus of God show up.
Finding something in the Arctic makes me wonder if they’re going to start bring in aliens. Within that room there are references to 2001 A Space Odyssey, At the Mountains of Madness, Alien: Covenant, and The Thing. They’ve played with Lovecraft before, or at least Resident Evil 4 sure as hell feels like someone saw the Dagon movie, but that’s a lot of reference to alien related stuff that seems like a future direction.
Better final boss than the last game.
