  1. What a true honor to participate in a video with some true legends on youtube….😀👍

  2. I like the Indiana Jones 4 PC-Adventure very much. Also Shadow of the Tomb Raider (story is very similar to the last movie). But my favorites are Dune 1, 2, 2000 and, attention please, Angry Birds Star Wars! Yes, for sure!

  3. Spider man 2 is a very solid choice for this, although arguably the NGC version is marginally better due to the controls and draw distance being a little higher! For me it'd be that Blade Runner game from '97, but then i'm a sucker for the point and clicks!

  4. I'd like to throw Platoon for the C64 into the race. Very polished and sophisticated for a C64 game: Every level has completely different gameplay (1st lvl: run&gunning through a jungle maze made out of vertically stacked, side scrolling "slices"; 2nd lvl: FPS in a tunnel network etc.), Roster of 5 soldiers with individual wound count plus global morale system and so on. Add to that an absolutely stellar soundtrack by Jonathan Dunn (seriously among the best things I've heard on C64) and you've got yourself one of the absolute top games on the platform, imo.

  5. Now after seeing all the excellent titles people brought to the table… I feel I'm out of place with about Days of Thunder. xD!

Can't say much more than the other guys already said. No matter the guests, being here with you is always a pleasure!

    Cheers!

  6. My instant answer – Ghostbusters. It truly captures the spirit of the movie and the spirit of the era. Suppose the supernatural is real, and obviously we're talking a scientific revolution? Okay, LET'S MAKE SMALL BUSINESS TO PROFIT FROM IT. I mean … wow! So Reagan/Thatcher '80s in attitude! It's just so ridiculously emblematic of the cultural gestalt of the time (in the USA/West).

The game does actually try to follow some parts of the plot, but not too closely. The important aspect – the capitalistic focus on making a quick buck – that is adapted into a computer game form using stuff that wouldn't have worked in a movie. Buying equipment upgrades to be able to better rake in the bucks? It's principles of business sims that wouldn't work in a movie but which really put you in the capitalist mentality in a computer game.

  7. chiiiii, nunca pensei ver tanto cromo junto por minuto quadrado 😀 oops, sorry, i forgot some of ya don´t speak aljubarrotês. For me, i would have to choose Street Fighter the Movie ´cause it does the full circle, it´s a game based on a movie based on a game 😀 nah, serously, it was Atari´s E.T.

  8. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay would be my pic. Even though it was a prequel to the movies, the story and gameplay were done so well, with great voice acting (including Vin Diesel). Plus the graphics for the time were top notch.

  9. O melhor é o Street fighter movie the video-game pois é baseado num filme baseado num jogo. Agora a falar a sério adoro o star wars arcade antigo. é perfeito a replicar a batalha com a death star. Faz isso de 1 forma elegante e minimalista.
