Paid Fast Travel = Instant DOA for New World. There's a zero percent chance they recover from that decision. Even if they relent on that specific thing, their entire management decision-making process is fucked if it arrived at that point to begin with.
There's a worse way you can implement transmog. Same grind and current limitations, but the weave is consumed per armor piece.
Doesn't excuse the current greedy, horrid system in place, but it always can get worse.
