  1. Mario carts to reduce poverty? It seems to me someone like blue shell that is destroying the very best so everyone can be equally poor. Smells like communism.

  2. This pearl clutching over loot boxes being gambling, and about wont someone PLEASE think of the children!? Is so disengenuous. Are you really afraid of the youth being corrupted with their first taste of the devil's apple that is gambling, OR DO YOU JUST NOT LIKE HAVING TO BUY LOOT BOXES? I don't like em either! But I'm not pretending to take some sort of puritanical high ground about it.

  3. Wtf. He is absolutely right cheap gamers are the worst. They shouldn't even game if they cant even suppory the companies that make games. 60-70 dollars is not that much for a game

  4. gamestonks and the ceo leaving with a lot of money is the fault of stupid people not understanding that they aren't saving that failing company, they're just lining the dude's pockets, the company will still fail because it's a bad company.

  5. What is funny about Loot Boxes, is that if you did actually have a real life reward for opening a loot box, they would be 100% illegal… The fact that loot boxes don't have a tangible reward somehow makes them more legal?

Good for Brazil… They are one of the countries that EA specifically targets with Loot Boxes.. they have a HUGE problem there with literal crime spikes by youth looking for money to fuel their loot box addictions…

  6. loot boxes…
Game devs that violate a new law should be forced to open a loot box that spits out a fine amount at random. Somewhere between $100,000 and $1,000,000. "come on daddy needs a new pair of shoes… small money, small money!"

  7. GAMESTOP…
Don't forget that the STOCK PRICE was artificially inflated. So the CEO who retired would obviously cash out his stock when it's high. Where does the money come from? It all comes from other investors, so when the stock price normalizes many people will lose a lot of money. Not sure if this affects Gamestop itself in the long term. Probably other factors such as PS5 Digital and XBox Series S not having disc readers would affect Gamestop way more due to less game resales.

  8. I think a certain type of dumb humor is lost on a lot of folks. I'd bet at least 5 bucks that the cops didn't really go through, and beat all the high scores. Just the person posting being a bit cheeky me thinks.

  9. How do we know if we like a game before we buy it, unless you provide a demo?
Second, stop expecting kids (or their parents) to have tons of disposable income to throw away on a full-price game! Some greedy devs don't know when to shut up.

  10. I know this is stupid, but technically (the point of writing) there were 331,000 of us watching, which means if we each have more than $540, then we are richer than the CEO who left GameStop. 😃

  11. 8:51 The article never said Mario Kart would REMOVE world poverty, you clown. The article was also written by a woman, yet you call them "man" and "guy".
Pretty sure you didn't read and just glanced at the headline and added it to your video. Lazy hack.

  12. The Dayz Gone dev shbluld be glad people are buying the game at all.
I don't know how piracy is in consoles these dsys, but considering they're willing to release exclusives on PC show they're trying to get as many people into these games.

  13. So many EA games that I like but at the same time they all have various and obvious signs of money grabs that just drive me crazy, I wish EA was more of a gamer oriented company rather than a money oriented one

  14. 10. usually people just leave it alone or steal it.
    9. he's cheap.
    8. good for them. loot boxes has a in game currency, but people tends to go to optional route and buy with real money to get what they want.
    7. extremely fake, realistically it'll be too heavy and brake the graphic card itself or the motherboard.
    6. okay.
    5. probably take him/her a long time to reach max level.
    4. same as #6.
    3. i guess.
    2. that impressive.

  15. HEY Hawnk, about Brazil and loot boxes, there's strict laws that forbids any kind of gambling over "lucky games" as so called any type of game that can have arbitrary resoults… (althoug we have LOTTO and other similar stuff that are on the same scope but is overlooked, becouse the "governmet organizes" and keeps an eye on) just like slots machines, cassinos and other similar stuff. So for us, brazillian gamers it's a very good thing. Althoug, becouse they're "Lucky games" they're far on top over importation taxes, becouse they're sort of legaly consider non essential products and not classified as entretainment products, and companies that try to settle here are sorta of overcharged with taxes, almost like they're cigarette companies. There's alway the down side.

  16. 0:45 how about don't blatantly glaze over the fact that they talked about spending all the owner's "gold coins (points)", i.e., the police spent the product of the owner's own money against their will? And ADVERTISED IT PUBLICLY, thinking it was FUNNY??? How tone-deaf, immune to the law, and narcissistic do you have to be… I hate cops so much.

  17. I think earnable loot boxes are fine, including loot boxes in a season pass is fine, but the elaborate system they currently set up to just farm gamers as if they are a neverending supply of funds is beyond frustrating. My nephew wanted to buy event boxes to get an Apex Heirloom, i went over the hidden math with him and he was shocked at the actual cost.

  18. if a game has MTX in it Everything in that game is build to push players into the MTX Store and spend Money which at this point is NOT a Game at All but MTX Store build to look like a game a corporate way to EXPLOIT ppl for Money unfortunately over 80% of PC and console gamers are Complete MORONS so Exploiting them is So Easy companies dont even need to try hard

  19. lol not spending more money on a game, I've sunk thousands into games that the Youtube clip look great only to find that the game is boring as crap, full of glitches, unfinished work and the list just goes on and on. Lets name a few Cyberpunk 2077 what a joke, Give me my money back. or how about No man sky, should have been called No mans idea. Stop supporting unfinished games. if i only did half my job you'd be sleeping out in the rain. Would you pay me?
