We’re all looking forward to playing through the Cyberpunk 2077 story but as Cyberpunk is a open world RPG (Role Playing Game), there’s so much more on offer other than the main Cyberpunk story.
Cyberpunk 2077 | Types of Side Missions & Activities in Night City
There will be loads of things for players to do within Cyberpunk 2077, this could be the main CP2077 story, side missions, mini games or random events. For the beginning of game these will be locked off as you will be customizing your character and then going through the introduction of one of the lifepaths but as you progress through the Cyberpunk lifepath introduction, you will unlock side missions and activities to complete. The Cyberpunk 2077 side missions are completely separate from the main missions, they even give you XP for a completely different rank but they will be just as good as the main missions. CD Projekt Red have always been known for their amazing side missions, especially with the Witcher 3, those amazing side missions will now be in CP77. CDPR have said that the side missions won’t just be your generic “go to this location, kill someone” missions, every mission will link into cyberpunk lore and tell you a story.
In addition to the cyberpunk 2077 side missions, you will also have side activities where you can practice fighting, racing, weapon wielding and hacking. There will be various challenges available for you to complete and by doing so you will be rewarded. You will be able to find a number of races around Night City, each one being a different race type and each one aimed at a vehicle class so there will be a huge variety of races you can enter. Less cyberpunk information has been revealed about fighting, shooting range and hacking but it’s safe to assume that these will have different variations of themselves.

It’s surreal I’m gonna be playing this game in a few hours. I haven’t been waiting since 2012 like some but it’s had my interest for about 5 years now and once I seen the 2018 I knew I was sold. And now it finally here I can’t wait so spend hours exploring the world, getting to know the characters, and everything else there is to do

To make the game even longer, Im going to switch how I play it. During the weekdays I will do missions during the day and when its night time, Im going to just relax and walk around the city, go to a bar or go to the gym and box with the robots.
During the weekends Ill probably just walk around the city and just relax without fighting anyone and I may discover new things or go "shopping" and try my guns out at the range
for all this living world and side activities happening while you walk down the street…it is SOOOO good to have 3rd person gameplay option to live THE living world :/
