This guy doesn't know how to fucking use Yojimbo….. He has a high chance of not using Zanmato if you pay waaaaayyy too much. If you're relationship with him is good,(ie. Not getting ko'd not letting Yojimbo fall in battle, paying him up to 10,000 gil) he will discount you the ability and you can do it for a bit of gil or even for free where he will outright refuse to take gil and do the move. Don't overpay him, give him 300 to 10,000 gil. No more than that.

OH! And now that I think of it, Deus Ex: Human Revolution had that one boss whose vulnerable to a silent takedown while climbing the walls. Do it right, it looks like he jumps down and immediately gets KOed by a punch to the jaw. Hilarious. 🙂

It's worth noting that Yoshi's Woolly World actually references the #6 entry in the course, Naval Piranha's Sewer. You can attack the Piranha Plant before Kamek shows up to receive some easter egg dialogue from him. However, unlike in Super Mario World 2, you can't cheese the Naval Piranha boss battle in Yoshi's Woolly World.

Deus Ex allows you to kill an assassin by placing mines outside the airplane cabin before you speak to the NPC inside.
Killing Fafnir in Final Fantasy XII: Have everyone equip Mirror armour and go stand beside a certain rock. The giant Fafnir can't reach you and will use Shock and status ailments which get reflected due to mirror. Go get a drink, and 30-40 minutes later, its dead from its own attacks.

oh, i've done #3 many times.
a funny trick i found:
one of the bosses in the old SNES game "a link to the past", the one that looks like a giant butterfly, can be hurt by BEES.
yes, catch bees in bottles, and release them during the boss fight!
i don't know if it's possible to beat him with ONLY bees, but it's amusing.
and a VERY useful trick:
in many areas, there are apparently indestructible enemies that look like pinwheels that bounce around in a diagonal pattern…
use "magic dust" on them and they turn into FAIRIES!

I Remember beating the original "Diablo+Hellfire" by collecting a cursed ring, which basically destroyed your light radius to 1.
If equipped during game it made things difficult, however, get to Diablo, stand at back wall and fire lightning arrows at diablo's position,
he's can't see you so don't attack…
