Playing Cyberpunk 2077 in 8K… with Ray Tracing!? | The Tech Chap

Can you play Cyberpunk 2077 in 8K? I’m pairing an RTX 3090 with an 8K TV to find out how well it runs – and if 8K Gaming is really worth it!

  1. i was a bit interested in CP2077… now as i see this hype im disappointed, the biggest player base will be casuals and totally trashy noobs
And i know already… the bigger the hype about it.. the less interesting it is.

  2. 8K gaming is a complete waste of resource. 4K is the max appreciable resolution at the max level of resolution and viewing distance that we have now. Can’t wait for a RISC-V console or an Apple M chip to chew through these high end games. Even the 3090s are struggling.
