  1. After buying the iPad Pro 2021, Divinity Original Sin 2 was my first purchase. It is truly amazing and they did a great job with the touch controls too in my opinion

  2. Thank you Mr.MacRight,

You do a great job covering games that push to better the gaming experience and standards on Macs, iPads and Apple TV’s – be it Console/PC class, AAA or just good value in their own right indie games.

  3. Any chance you have a list of games that are amazing for the iPad mini?

Sadly I have an iPad mini fifth generation. Also to match that sad, I have been lookin forward to divinity Original Sin two coming to iOS. I’m heartbroken that it won’t play on my system, which I can’t really afford to upgrade. I’m not upgrading for a single game, no matter how badly I want to play it.

For handheld playing enjoyment, with my limited vision, I plan using a game vice attached to my iPad mini. There are no good controller attached to game pad options for the larger iPads. Yes I’m looking forward to switch competitors.

  4. iPad Pro have great hardware and with m1 chip it is beast but sadly no console level games are developed for it and to tell truth I hate most of the games in Apple Arcade . Only games I think worth it is Genshin impact and divinity original sin 2

  5. I’m mostly looking forward to devs adding M1 support and enhancements as well as new games being developed for it
Great video tho! Some games I’d never heard of!

Genshin looks awful on the new iPads though, i hope they fix it

  6. Damn! Excellent content again, Mr Mac. I think its time Apple introduce big name games on Ipad with controller support. Am not a Fortnite fan but i do miss playing fortnite on my ipad.

  7. Your videos are helpful to find the best iPadOS games. Just got my M1 iPad Pro 2 days ago and purchased Divinity Original Sin 2. I’ve setup a controller but still learning how to use it. Journey and Layers of Fear both look really interesting, I may check those out.

  8. Honestly though Genshin should gtfo it's unchecked gambling that can instill that habit into kids. They just copied LOZ graphics and mechanics, wrote in the minimum story/character development needed just to disguise the gambling aspect. FYI Having 50% chance to win something makes you more addicted than 100% (Robert Sapolsky). They are exploiting our reward system to the fullest.

I've always been a gamer. Chrono trigger. FF series. Ark the Lad. LOZ. But i'm not going within a mile of that genshin abomination. They didn't make a good game. They made a good gambling platform disguised as a good looking free game. We will only get EXCELLENT titles when people stop accepting MEDIOCRITY to save a few bucks.

And now so many games are following this gamble for heroes style. 'Oh but the draw is pretty fair' f that sh*t for as long as game progress is not dependent on time or money paid directly for that time – and wholly dependent on a GAMBLING SYSTEM.

  9. The only game currently to benefit from an MI iPad is Divinity 2 on 60FPS…and that’s not saying much since 2018 iPad Pro can play the game at 30FPS. I guess I shouldn’t be too disappointed since the M1 just came out and it’ll likely be a more advantageous product in the long run(especially for the 16GB version) over iPhones

Divinity 2 needs 4GB ram to play and no iPadOS game pushes any CPU/GPU beyond that. Thank you MrmacRight for the video

  10. Agreed…layers of fear is underrated on iOS…it’s easily the best looking and performing horror game.
Though, I’m surprised you put The Gardens Between on the bonus list as while it looks and plays fanatsic on iPad pros 2018-2020; but I tried playing it on the new iPad Pro with M1 chip and there was noticeable drop in FPS and the graphics did not look as crisp. Needs to be optimized for the new chip. A lot of games do really, and I hope devs will take the time to do so.

  11. I just want to play a skateboard game with a controller (not my thumbs) on my new m1 ipad pro, a game at least as good as the super old Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 that I was obsessed with on Playstation 2(?) back in the day. Can you point me in the right direction, MrMacRight?

  12. I’m playing the Pathless on an iPad Air 4 and I think it has really good performance. I’m not huge gamer at all (actually, I just starting « gaming » recently, and only on the iPad) but to me the game seems really fluid and awesome to play with an Xbox controller.

  13. So a trend I'm seeing here is….there is NO updated in quality since 2018. I really hope this doesn't continue. If every game is made to work as well as it can on the 2018 iPad Pro…what's the point of every upgrading?
