Cyberpunk 2077’s bugs and glitches are grabbing all the headlines, but most reviews ignore the bigger problem: the underlying game isn’t that great anyway.

  3. This kind of content is only useful for people who don't like the game and just want to circlejerk about why they don't like it. In other words, pointless. Sick of all this negativity popping up from people who don't even care about the lore and story while I'm just trying to see other people having as much fun as I am. It just screams "stop having fun with this game because I don't have fun with it" and I'm so over it.

  4. I can't stress this enough. Your video is everything I have wanted to say about this game. This is poetry as far as I am concerned. Every point that you have discussed in this video is true. Some people are calling it 'the best unfinished game of 2020' LMAO. nothing can be further from the truth. This is a sad sad game. It actually feels like it belongs in PS2 era. The word 'immersion' cannot be found in this game. This game doesn't even try to do that. Bugs and glitches can be fixed by updates but the core of the game cannot be. The AI in this game has to be one of the worst AIs I have seen in a game. On top of it, your criticism about the state of gaming journalism is on point. How can anyone give this game a 9 out of 10 is something I will never be able to understand. Man, great job with this video! I wish there were more people like you. So many journalists end up writing reviews with so many fancy words and yet they feel empty.

  5. Appreciate your objective thoughts on the game. It definitely could've benefitted from a bit more cooking, but the potential is there. Perhaps they'll sort it out in time with subsequent patches further down the road ala No Man's Sky. I'd welcome those changes but I understand those who perhaps expected it to meet every ambitious idea that was initially planned. CDPR may want to take the Rockstar route by not giving release dates and keeping the mantra of "it's out when it's finished".

  6. You could not have said it better. “Brutaly honest review” is an abused term in Youtube but this one hits the nail down to every detail. Thank you for letting me know that there’s at least one person thinking straight because watching other reviews left me only frustration.

On a side note, I wonder what REALLY happened at CDPR. I mean they’re smart enough to make Witcher 3, had loads of budget, 8 years of time, and independent enough not to be controlled by another corporate. They didn’t share any of the past failed game developer’s problems, or rather this was a giant recipe for success but yet still managed to produce garbage. This is beyond me.

  7. I think I speak for many of the viewers when I say that we really appreciate you work. It's always informative. Whether you continue or not and at what pace is always a personal choice and we should respect it regardless. Huge thanks from a recent sub!

  8. This game was predictably destroyed because of hype. Even if you remove all of the bugs and console issues, its still pretty "meh". IMO. Certainly nowhere near the hype. It didn't really innovate at all. It just feels like a lifeless, buggy GTA. This game needs major surgery, not just patches and hotfixes. Idk if that can happen.

  9. driving on pc isn't perfect, but it's certainly not horrible either, just takes some getting used to. 1st time i tried to drive, i was going nuts all over the place, cuz the turning seemed so sensitive at low speeds, but now that i've gotten used to it, i can go full speed across the city no prob.

  11. fx 4300 and a rx 570 here, runing cyberpunk at 30fps minimun with textures on high, crow on medium, not having mayor bugs just normal bugs like every game that has non static physics today, for me is a 8/10.. game is amazing at it is and i really hope they improve the game in the next months, cant complain myself cuz im already halfway the main story level 35 and didnt have anythig that made me think this game didnt deserved my money

  12. Even as a fan of the game on PC, I'm the first to admit this situation is ridiculous, and there's game design problems I hate, like the GRIND of uninteresting stuff and outdated side quest design, and the looter shooter stuff. Story wise? I love it, and AMAZING atmosphere, easily best open world single player game I've seen in a very long time. Overall, for me it's a 7.5 MAX.

This coming from a company that made amazing side quests in an open world, is an insult to the Witcher 3

Also, the driving… OMG the driving, only bikes are worth a damn with a handbreak.

  13. "Low effort content" I'd honestly be more than happy if this was your standard. It's still very high quality and more importantly it says what most don't dare say on this platform with genuine honesty….You should be charging extra if anything (as opposed to not charging this month)
