  1. I don’t get why people are complaining about this you just need people who will push when you ask them to push and you just gotta put up with dying cause in the end it’s how your games I going on the attacking side of your good attacking than defending you don’t have to worry about retaking sites just have some fun defending then try hard attacking

  2. The postplant meta is really good it's one thing that distinguishes the game from traditional fps and particularly cs go. It also takes a lot of skills to execute because one place isn't enough for each site so I think it is a very good meta. Personally it doesn't affect me in iron coz people never use lineups

  3. I think people are starting to forget that this is a hero tactical fps and not a CS:GO clone. If you can't deal with the post plants, you don't deserve to be in the upper leagues. Stop whining and learn tricks to play around it. It's literally the same thing as the whether Odin is an unfair gun debate.

  4. I think of smokes literally “snuffed” a molly, as in made it gradually taper off so you had an interplay trading abilities for half defuses or burning them on fakes it could be a fair enough balance since smoke agents would also have to sandbag that for a post plant situation.

  5. I think, if they wanna keep the postplant agents (kj, viper, etc) like they are they should integrate an agent with something to catcb specific utility, like jaeger or wamai from R6.

  6. I like post plant mollies but I think you could make the decision making of that whole dynamic more interesting overall if maybe they introduce an item u can buy in a match specifically for getting rid of mollies. Make it cheap like 50 or 100 creds and give it a per team limit like 2 or 3. I do obviously agree that when played optimally it is very boring because there is little counter play.

  7. In CS smokes kill Molotovs. It means that retaking requires smokes, and makes players think smarter about their utility. Giving utility more uses is great for depth.

  8. This is bs, Riot made those characters so they could do things like that, not to mention you need to practice a ton and get good at that character to use those methods. If it annoys you, then kill the person with that ability. Similarly to how Yoru is a good lurker, he is a patient killer that pops up behind you, that's just how his character is.

  9. i guess the reason that people dont like how that type of gameplay goes is that, attackers, for example with viper is that they only have to plant the bomb and the viper doesnt have to take engagement with the enemy, the viper can just sit somewhere for the lineup and have a good chance of winning the round just by that. i dont complain about it cause as someone who plays sova and viper every now and then, i do make use of my util for post plant. I just think thats how some people see it.

  10. As someone who cant aim, i fucking love lineups. Makes it feel like i actually have power outside of my gun. I read a comment that said people who complain about lineups are the same people who complain about shotguns, and yea, that seems about right. These people want valorant to be a boring rifle v rifle aim game with no abilities, strategy or cheese.

  11. They should nerf mollies to where if a 150 hp player is on the bomb, a molly won't kill them fast enough to stop defuse. The other way to stop a post plant meta would be to nerf the mollies to have recharge like Skye's flashes. For example, Viper can only buy 1 molly now, but it recharges every 45-60 seconds. They could also just nerf the prices of the mollies to impact the full buy or post plant buy.

  12. I think they shlf make the lineup projectiles like snakebite to be able to be bounced off someone's body like how brimstone Molly works and they shld make the sound of the flying Molly to be a little bit louder so if u listen carefully u can get ready for it. Obviously this will affect the post-plant meta quite significantly, but this won't make it so that the post-plant lineups are useless, it'll just make it easier to dodge, and people using the lineups just have to be smarter abt the timing and placement of their lineups

  13. Idea: Damage ramp up
Once a molly lands it doesn't do much damage but the damage ramps up but it also expires faster alot faster (just enough damage to kill if you stand in it the whole time)
This would keep the main use of molly intact yet destroy the post plant meta
