i dont agree i think these changes make gp hard (mainly in lane) cause the q changes as well as fleet foot work change cause now you cant take grasp or fleet pretty much and you cant build devine sunder for top lane gp or even if they have a lot of tanks like you still can but its so bad but i like it cause it rewards crit gp as well more room to work with when you are vs cait lucian or akshan (or any other ranged champion)
Why does Redmercy not pay 9 other diamond 1/master players to play with him at the PBE? Kinda ridiclous when he smurfs vs silver or gold players.

Yeah cool, but this does not fix GPs main issue and why he feels so extremly bad to play with the crit build path.
So, why people dont do the crit builds even tho those deal way more dmg than the Sheen builds? The awnser is simple. U are way to squishy. Lit anything oneshots u before u get ur tipple barrel combo off. U wanna melee someone? Nope, u cant, u get oneshot.
Forcing him into the crit build path by nerfing his Q synergy with Grasp and the Sheen items will make him really bad. I bet he will drop around 2% win rate across all elos.
If they want GP to build crit they have to give him a crit chance multiplier like Yasuo / Yone have (for each % of crit chance ur crit chance doubles). Building 3 crit items (which means u have to go a mythic crit item) just giga sucks on GP, especielly in the current oneshot meta and 40% crit is just not enough. If u get unlucky u never crit in a teamfight. If u go full crit, guess what, u play grey screen simulator.
Double the crit chance he gets from items or dont touch that champ at all. Thats my advice for Riot if they really want him to build crit.

These changes sould not affect grasp tbh, gp is still a melee champion so it shouldnt matter what kind of attack he uses to collect grasp it still should give melee bonus, same for Samira, if you use her melee attack with the sword you should still get the ranged bonus. Grasp should be affected by the type of the champion not the type of attack you use since there isnt many champions that have melee and ranged attacks, i believe Samira was the only one? We can include gp now but grasp should work as always since gp base attack type is melee. As far as i know the type of grasp you get either melee or ranged is determined during the champion select menu based on the type of champion you chose.
