There is quite a bit of caustic gas to go around already so im fine with that.
as for the ring changes it doesn't sound great imo but I'm willing to give it a chance before I definitively say I don't like it.

I knew the nerf to Horizon was coming. I'm actually really happy with the nerf because it's not severe. It's only 5 seconds. And the gold helmet will bring it back down anyways 🙂
Lol imagine people whining so much that they don't implement a buff to a character that they had planned. Jesus respawn first with the Bangalore heirloom now this?? Respawn is clearly willing to listen and change things according to player feedback, just not when it comes to the store or how they make bundles. Wtf Respawn

well deserved nerfs man caustics gas was so toxic i would completely avoid fighting him in a closed environment. as for horizon yall know that shit was op when all these players did was grav boost all the mf time it was annoying and too easy to troll noobs and get kills she was even better than wraith. so yea fair balance. also im enjoying bloodhound right now lmao also octraine 😀
I wish they went through with the buff
I think people went waaaaay too overboard with the Caustic buff attitude. You wouldn´t really die from it more than you do now. Most of the time, you would have to deal with 1 trap more mid fight maybe. Which is 4 -6 dmg for the most part.
People are fine with Wraith having a "tactical" that can completely deny any mistake she makes. Or basically cancle out every ult! In the entire game. She got 4 buffs on her last alleged "nerf" as THE S tier legend! But shorting a trap cd that is easy to deal with on a character that isn´t often used is too much apperently. People really do only care for their own stuff. And since most people are wraith mains by the looks of it, nothing´s being said.
I want King Canyon Map again
People whine to much. The caustic buff would have been good. Especially since there aren’t a whole lot of areas that it’ll be fatal in anyway. It just means pay attention.
The Horizon nerf was expected
I didn't get the big deal with the caustic buff, honestly it was so minor. You can already stack 3 traps, and can only have 6 out anyway. So if you are using a bit of brain power to place then the cooldown is rarely a factor.
This community is wild. The minority of this rotten community was so butt hurt about Caustic getting buffed that the devs didn't do it. Like, wasn't everyone and their dog complained about Gibby not too long ago? Lol
What caustic really needs is a passive that actually does something, his passive is easily the worst in the game. I've picked up circa 50 wins on caustic in season 7 and honestly I don't think Nox Gas Vision has benefitted me even once.
I would even take a ludicrous "passive" that let teammates see which traps were yours and which were the opponents! That should happen anyway and would probably make caustic less annoying for everyone, but I would give up the most useless passive in the game, "Nox Gas Vision" for it in a heartbeat.
Im pretty sure they nerfed horizon because she gets her tactical again less than 5 seconds later the gravity lift ends, if we apply pathfinder logic that basically mean a locked 5 second cooldown considering he can't charge his tactical while grappling

As a horizon main I don't think that horizon needed a nerf. She was balanced and wasn't op. It kind of makes me mad a bit cuz lowkey the only reason I play now is because horizon was enjoyable to play
Tbh whenever i get meet an enemy team with caustic im happy. Not because caustic sucks but because caustic PLAYERS usually kinda suck haha

Bro caustic is weak in the open but in buildings hes op. However, I would of loved that buff since apex dont wanna fix the bugs for caustic tell me my fellow caustic players do you ever put a trap on a door then it randomly disappear when someone kicks the door and they come in like a swat team and fry you without you knowing your trap dissappear and I feel like it takes for ever to get caustic traps too there not that fuking dead you could easily destroy then no that hard

As a Horizon main i'm a little annoyed at the change because I loved how quickly you could get it back but i suppose objectively speaking it wasn't that balanced.
It did slow her down. If you use it to push, you have a 15 second spot where you have no ability. It used to be around seconds.
If you nerf Horizon, nerf Octane and his 2 second tactical cooldown

They should make caustic throw his barrels faster for an overall smoother and speedier experience it would also encourage more aggressive players
