I think irelia is a still too strong. I played a ranked flex game where I camped an irelia in the early game because our mid laner was an aurelion sol and I didn't want her to get fed, but even in mid to lategame she was still giving us trouble. From my experience, the best way to beat an irelia in lane is to let her push into you, so she has less kill pressure and opens her to jungle ganks
My opinion on Irelia as an NA silver mid main: She seems broken, but when I play her, all I do is int (in normal games of course). I always die before level 3. So I have no right to call her braindead. But I will say that she always gets tons of farm, has plenty of power at all stages of the game, and can tank a LOT for being a carry champion with dashes.

Found myself booting up League for the first time in a long time today. Wanted to see how the changes to Lucian and GP worked out.
I can highly recommend looking at GP right now. 5 barrels and increased crit damage make him feel like the one shot machine that he once was.
Irelia is insane at the moment, but I believe she's been insane ever since the rework released.

I think Irelia is more of “if you aren’t dominating, you feed your bottom off”. Feast or famine in some regard. Would be nice if she was more of a ramp up champion. Like she used to be.
Whenever I face her it is always unbridled aggression; which ends in her taking over or being useless.

Irelia is akin to most champions who have early game pressure; if you aren't great at playing against that then it feels unbeatable, and if you do, then by and large you just find different ways of getting things done around the map or you get the jungler to come and alleviate some of the pressure that the pressure

My issue with irelia is just how the counter play is to just… not play. It's the ultimate anti-fun opponent. With poke you dodge poke with all ins you either peel or out sustain. With irelia you just… dont go near

They have made her into an early AND late game champion. The Nerf to regen is an absolute joke. 3 minions and she wins every trade off her passive and likely drops igni for a no counterplay kill level 1.
Unrelated but related I was playing some gangplank games ( I'm silver) and I notice when I play him the very numerous mistakes I make that make me lose or get me killed. Though yes gangplank has all the tools he needs you still need to play well to find success. I feel that with irelia that even making the same mistakes she is so stupidly strong that you can get away with it. Misuse all your abilities? Well just auto them to death. Take a bad trade? Just heal it all with a vampiric scepter and q. You lost lane and 0/3 and a item behind? Well just sit back since you scale hard into late game and if u have botrk and they mess up a little bit you can probably kill them. Compound that with the current meta of the game and the healing problem and irelia just becomes a menace to deal with. I like irelia but I hope she gets nerfed hard. It doesn't feel very rewarding to beat someone not because I outskilled them buy because my champion is so overpowered. Funny since this irelia misused her abilities like ulting and using e without procing the passive but she still gets away with it lol.
