Warzone has an identity problem. Tbh the game had problems when it came out. But the terrible handling of the cold war integration was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I think it would’ve been better had the cold war integration for warzone been a separate iteration. Kinda like how apex has different maps that keep the mechanics, but produce different gameplays and strategies. Had activision approved treyarch’s map for warzone, the cold war integration could be like any warzone game, but play by cold war’s rules and mechanics. It would’ve also been great had you been given the chance to choose what game of warzone you want. If you wanted old school MW 2019 warzone, a playlist should be present. Or if you wanted to play cold war warzone, a dedicated playlist should be there. I’m just offering a suggestion that could’ve maybe worked had it been experimented or thought of before. But the cheating and hackers was the cornerstone that really hurt the game.
I love how you didn’t blame warzone for more hackers in apex. That argument is so dumb people say that ever since cod playeds moved to apex there have been more hackers but like obviously there would be more hacker if there are MORE players regardless of how apex blows as long as there are more players there will be more hackers and more people searching up movement guides.

most warzone streamers switched to apex, so their viewers will also switch to apex, either to play the game their favorite creator plays or stream snipe them and annoy them, but thats the main reason

I play apex since Day one and since then i was saying that it is the best battle royale
I don't think war zone will die soon, it will still have the cod community playing it since it's the only f2p and the only BR cod experience, however apex will continue to grow as a community and the game deserves it, sure apex is not perfect and has some balance issues (I'm talking to you Seer) but honestly the game feels so much different from the other fps game, even the legends are, for most of them, not a copy of already existing characters in other games (which is one of the main problems I have with Valorant for example). The game just feels unique and it's a very great aspect that can prevent the game from dying.

TBH apex is good ..it just me that bad at this game.
Remember cheaters will just transfer to apex as warzone loses popularity which will be the biggest thorn in apex side just look at tfue just as one for instance

I was and am a day one player with apex and I have been playing it for over 2 years. It's great to watch it grow but tbh I don't want it to become popular. Every wave and sensation whether it's a game or anything else, it later kills it. I don't know why but its just a thing 🤷♂️
In my opinion, Apex doesnt need to be popular, its already good as it is because popularity is not always a good thing. Bringing in more player means bringing in more hacker which what exactly gonna kill a good game. On the marketing and business side for EA, ofc its always gonna be a good thing lol.

for starters, wz forces forces you to play cross platform and then it isnt even fair anymore where something as simple as a fov slider is not offered to console players which makes a huge difference. wz to needs to fix A LOT of things before i would consider going back to it.

The bad thing is all of these “streamers” are coming to apex and bringing their haters and trolls with them. So now we’re gonna have to deal with that. But as someone who left blackout to play apex I can definitely get behind them leaving for apex.

I played warzone a bit and I didn't like it cuz it had so many try hards and weapon attachments and things,I mean I am a decent player but still it wasn't fun at all
Also it took time to get better because the more you play the better gear you will have
With apex it is different,you are better because your skills are better and not your guns and the more you play you don't get more gun attachments and shit you just get skins that don't effect the gameplay at all and it is 100% free to play,all legends can be unlocked the more you play
That is why I love apex it has less stuff to modify in the lobby and it is hella fun in game with the movement and variety of fights in the game
That is my opinion on the matter
Apex is literally the best BR. no comparison. They tried black out and warzone and still can't come close.

Warzone was the best battle royale, until cold war and cheaters plagued it. Literally down bad, i feel like im wasting my time playing warzone just to get frustated over and over again. Apex is much more fun.
