  1. I think you hit the nail on the head with the multiple personalities, I think even as a human she had them. This explains why Ashley let Newt go being compassionate then going into Ash mode calling in the squad to sabotage the pathfinder experiments, also why Ashley went with horizon so she wasn't alone in space and then Ash mode cut off the tethers to sabotage the energy crisis solution. I think her new lore is going to be very interesting with Ash using Ashley's knowledge to try and wipe her out while Ashley fights for control on the inside.

  2. Reed's mind could have just split to be able to cope with being turned into a simulacrum. Ash was the colder part of her mind who could go through that trauma unphased and that could be why she is basically in control. Like pieces of Reed's mind are still there and it seems that when Horizon put those codes in, they finally awoke and Ash too could finally see those old pieces of herself and now wants to remove them completely because she sees them as something holding her back. All of her old emotions and memories are just things that are in her way.

  3. (i haven't play Titanfall this opinion is based since ash arrived to apex with arenas)

honestly at first i didn't like ash because how straight evil she was, but now knowing that she was a "good" human and that the robot is the one making damage, im kind of interested to see how these two personalities will deal in game. The Voice lines between Ash and horizon are gonna be 😬🔥🔥🔥

  4. i hope they dont add any more apex predators to the roster, for ash i feel like it makes sense because shes super engrained in the lore. if blisk becomes a legend id feel thats a bit too far, considering he started the games.

  5. Hmm. Torn

Because yay Ash! Vinson Dynamics represent, evil robot lady 🙂

But at the same time, this regretful scaredy Ashleigh? Not a fan. Like I can perfectly get her having simultaneously been evil and a person with some heart, but making it be 2 different personalities is iffy, because I'm scared they'll make it like "OoOo who will win between the battle of good and evil personalities" instead of "When will they merge back into the original person, who was evil yes, but had feelings sometimes"

Idk. I don't think she had multiple personalities as a human, rather her traits got split by the Simulacrification and Horizon messing with her. Hope she gets well soon, don't want to see ol' human Ash being a wuss I mean come on you were a contract infiltrator and killer, own it. Making her "good actually" because of unrevealed mental illness would be a cop out

  6. I think reed always had two sides of her personality, one side was compassionate and the other was driven by her duties as a pilot or whoever she worked as, but since she was put into a robot body, whoever made her needed her to be a strong pilot regardless and so I feel they took that dark savage side of her brain and turned it all the way up to where now she’s only driven by that darkness, her compassionate self can’t reach the surface no more because she wasn’t designed to

  7. i sort of felt that there was 2 possibilities about when ashleigh was speaking to horizon: 1.) ashleigh wasn't really sorry but rather just stressed about the current situation after having been woken up, not fully understanding what was happening, and then being mocked by ash, or 2.) ashleigh had always been in there and was able to think separately in the back of the consciousness and had like 60 to 70 something years to think about it, but either way i am curious to find out why she joins the apex games

  8. So it was Ashleigh Reid who saved Horizon from the falling shards and said that “Newton would be proud” last season. I guess Sim-Ash hates these moments, since they make her vulnerable… Interesting

  9. Well ash values efficiency over all else. In her eyes human emotions and values are not efficient. All things inefficient need to be removed or recycled into something else. As for Blisk and Ash’s relationship prior well I think after Ash was terminated by Jack cooper he viewed her as weak and in one way this is her trying to climb back into good graces with Blisk once more
