  1. Something fishy going on with RT reflections in this game which makes me think that not all reflections are pure ray-traced when RT is on. Look at 2:05, the bluish reflection under the car when RT is on is surely fake and baked in. It cannot exist there.

  2. Doesn't seem like a big enough difference to warrant losing frame rate over it to be honest. That glass walkway looked really nice though. For every other scene I kind of feel like tinkering with Reshade or SweetFX would get similar results and cost like 1FPS instead of 20.

  3. Finding places where RTX on is actually visible is the hard part. I test it constantly and can't generally see a difference so I just take the 40 FPS boost from it being off.

  4. looks kinda nice but not worth the perf hit and the price of a card that can actually run it (even with pre-pandemic pricing). nvidia really screwed us over by forcing rtx too soon. now we're paying more for graphics cards even if we don't want or care about rtx yet.

  5. Most situation it doesn't seem to matter much in terms of which one is better, except for wall to wall glass like 0:40. If you have a card that can do it and give steady 50+fps average go for it, but if it mean you average bellow that at 1440p, then I don't think it's worth turning it on.
