Cyberpunk 2077 is a vast game and I soaked into it heavily.
Durng playthrough I a decent number of locations which they seems to be perfect for graphics comparison of Ray Tracing ON vs OFF. Are you ready?
Gameplay (Maxed out settings in 4K) captured on PC with following specs:
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition: https://www.nvidia.com/pl-pl/shop/geforce/gpu/?page=1&limit=9&locale=pl-pl&category=GPU&gpu=RTX%203080

0:44 a great use of Ray Tracing
Basically this game requires Rtx?? To get good graphics ??
Yea i would pay $500 dollars more for that. hope you didnt
Something fishy going on with RT reflections in this game which makes me think that not all reflections are pure ray-traced when RT is on. Look at 2:05, the bluish reflection under the car when RT is on is surely fake and baked in. It cannot exist there.
RTX OFF -> FPS++
This game sucks big time! What a disappointment 😔
👎 Another Nvidia puppet sponsored channel …. Now boasting about Nvidia Rtx to remain listed in founder's edition program … A dislike 👎 to this puppet channel
I can't tell the fucking difference
Pretty water with no physics lol
despite the poor physics in this game, the graphics even without rtx looks great, but the texture is a little bit weird making everything looks like one century ago
Cyberpunk RTX 3080 4K Video:
Minecraft: Pff
Ray tracing maces a huge difference Idc what anyone says idc if I get 30FPS if it offers ray tracing I will play with it on. Idk what everyone's obsession with ultra settings are
The scene that shows up in the thumbnail bothers me so much none of the characters have any shadows
Forget Ray tracing first deal with glitches.
This is proof. That great graphic mean nothing if game itself is broke. Let's see if DEV can fix this game and deliver what they told to player.
Just remember those Rtx affect can't be done with lower than 3080 cards ,as game will be unplayable
They make reflections of water
instead of real physics of water interactions..
Doesn't seem like a big enough difference to warrant losing frame rate over it to be honest. That glass walkway looked really nice though. For every other scene I kind of feel like tinkering with Reshade or SweetFX would get similar results and cost like 1FPS instead of 20.
I actually prefer RTX off. I dont know about others, but ray-traced images hurts my eyes and makes me feel a bit nauseated….
First music?
Rtx on and can't even see your own reflection…
If only there was no framerate penalty when turning on RTX… sigh
3:15 RTX OFF looks much better. You Sure you put the tag of RTX ON and OFF on correct videos? lol
I have an RTX 2080 and I have to decide between RTX off at 60FPS or RTX on at 30-40FPS. I prefer smooth gameplay thanks.
CD Red: What it cost for that RTX on?
Player: Frame drop and bugs 🙁
CD Red: Yesss >:)
Finding places where RTX on is actually visible is the hard part. I test it constantly and can't generally see a difference so I just take the 40 FPS boost from it being off.
The game looks amazing without RTX tbh, the fps hit is just harsh shady nvidia pushing rtx down peoples throats
I turned on rtx and the fire department showed up 5 minutes later
There's no real big difference in most of these shots
man the music in this game is next level…
Out with the "Can it run Crysis?" and in with the "Can it run Cyberpunk 2077?"
So by increasing brightness and contrast I can turn on the rtx??????😁😁
so what you're saying is that rtx is worse?
only water looks better when on, but with off almost everything looks better !
sad but rtx sux not worth, another crap llike physc , useless cashgrab
looks kinda nice but not worth the perf hit and the price of a card that can actually run it (even with pre-pandemic pricing). nvidia really screwed us over by forcing rtx too soon. now we're paying more for graphics cards even if we don't want or care about rtx yet.
ray tracing is over realistic even real stuff does not look that real and that means its bad if you are looking for realistic stuff
Plot twist: RTX is not yet implemented except for a water and windows.
this is truly important. the whole game is a big bug, physics, ai is 20 years old, but rt so nice, we are happy
Most situation it doesn't seem to matter much in terms of which one is better, except for wall to wall glass like 0:40. If you have a card that can do it and give steady 50+fps average go for it, but if it mean you average bellow that at 1440p, then I don't think it's worth turning it on.
See, I know this video is fake, because when turning the RTX on, the frame rate doesn’t drop to 10 FPS. 😂
All of this means nothing if the physics are shit
The game without RTX already looks amazing, but with RTX it just takes the immersion to a whole new level
