Hey guys I apologize if there were still some problems with my microphone in today's video. It might be time to replace it because it was working perfect the other day but I had a lot of random issues with it today that I have not experienced yet. Thanks for the video. I didn't go for this Heirloom, I thought that the "value" behind the content was not there at all. Not at all.
The Epic skin for the Spitfire is a joke compared to the 'Bad Mojo' Epic skin (S5 Battle Pass, Lvl 99, technically way cheaper).
The Epic skin for the Longbow is a joke compared to the 'Forward Thinker' Epic skin (S7 Battle Pass, Lvl 99, technically way cheaper).
The Epic skin for Pathfinder is a joke compared to the 'Glistened' Rare (!!) skin (S5 Prize Track… it's free!).
No comment for the Epic skin for Rampart…
And I know it MIGHT be due to the theme, but there is a huge, huge lack of details for the Legendary skins (e.g. especially Bangalore and Mirage – he is THE biggest joke of this event… just a 2 colors, no relief, with hearts here and there..? Really?).
It's slightly better for the weapons, but we have seen way better ones too… I think that the Alternator, Triple Take and Devotion will divide the community; either you like it, either you don't see the "value" behind them…
It's a shame because there is actual & proper work done on some of them (G7, Havoc (!), the colors on Bloodhound, the design on Revenant, even the Epic R301 rocks!).
But we really need to put things into perspectives, and when you compare this content with the S4, S5 or S6 Collection Events, well, this one is just really meh.
Anyway, overall, definitely not worth it – even if I wanted Gibby's Heirloom so bad 🙁 I hope I'll get some Heirloom Shards during the 2 years Anniversary Event, and then I will it 🙂
